Hezbollah announced that five members of the movement had been killed while "carrying out their jihadist duty." IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi warned that "if Hezbollah makes a mistake and attacks, [they will be] annihilated," as Hezbollah continued to conduct anti-tank missile attacks toward Israeli territory on Tuesday. The IDF said earlier in the day that anti-tank missile attacks targeted Metula, Zar'it, Yiftah, and near Margaliot in northern Israel. Gunfire also targeted a number of IDF posts along the border throughout the day, with the Hezbollah-affiliated al-Manar TV reporting that cameras and other IDF equipment were targeted.

They’re young, hot and ready for war. Members of the Israel Defense Forces are posting “thirst traps” on TikTok amid the nation’s conflict with Hamas — and experts say it’s part of a larger strategy to garner support and spread nationalism as the social media masses flock to support Palestinians, Rolling Stone reported. The IDF, which is in the midst of a cease-fire with Hamas following a short war that left 13 Israelis and over 240 Palestinians dead, has long been social media-savvy with a strong online presence, but they’ve stepped up their game amid the latest round of conflict...

A Knock on the Door in the Night Nighttime was especially dangerous on the West Bank – we always tried to get back home to Bethlehem in our little VW Beetle before dark. As foreigners living among the Arabs, we felt vulnerable, although our neighbors were friendly and supportive. But they could do little to help us if anyone wanted to visit harm upon us. Even if we had a telephone (which we didn’t) there were no police to call for help. When the first “Intifada” (Arab uprising) erupted, everything changed. The shadowy radicals who controlled things behind the scenes...

Senior Israeli officials said Monday they were "concerned" at the prospect that the US may approve funding for a Palestinian Authority government that includes Hamas. The concern arose after it became known that the Obama administration had asked Congress for minor changes in US law that would allow the continued provision of funds to the PA even if Hamas officials became part of a Palestinian unity government. The Jerusalem Post has learned from a highly placed source that Israeli officials are very troubled by the possibility of US funds going to a government that includes Hamas. "Israel would be very...

DEARBORN, Mich., July 27 (UPI) -- With a population of nearly 30,000 Lebanese-Americans, the Detroit suburb of Dearborn, Mich., is coming under intense scrutiny from federal investigators. The reason is that in Dearborn many residents see no contradiction between being a loyal American and backing Hezbollah in its war with Israel, the Chicago Tribune reports. Watching the fighting going on in the Middle East, the Tribune says many in Dearborn feel betrayed and unfairly targeted by the U.S. government. Last May the owner of a chain of 15 restaurants called La Shish was indicted for tax evasion, accused of using...

2005 Iran Became Most Dangerous Nation (F-16I to play major role!)Hal Lindsey, Jan. 3, 2006 In reviewing the most important events of 2005 related to prophecy, I believe that the most important is what happened in Iran. Because of certain developments, Iran became the most dangerous nation in the world during 2005.First, Iran’s continuing pursuit of nuclear weapons despite the warnings of the international community is one factor that has elevated it to the title of “most dangerous.” Iran already has Shahab 5 Missiles that are capable of delivering nuclear warheads to Israel and many places in Europe. Not to...

Save the Apache, Lose the Gold Plating By David H. HackworthAs our magnificent warriors return from Iraq, they will tell the folks who sweated them out at home what really went down during their bold march to Baghdad and will catch them up on all the inside skinny concerning the war's winners and losers. At first glance, one of the big equipment losers is the U.S. Army's crown jewel, the Longbow Apache helicopter gunship (AH-64D model). Especially since a Longbow squadron got ventilated March 24 over the city of Karbala when 34 of these $24 million birds –...

On to Damascus? Posted: April 9, 2003 1:00 a.m. Eastern Tony Blair has assured his countrymen the United States does not intend to attack Syria or Iran. Colin Powell has assured the Muslim world the United States does not intend to attack Syria or Iran. But did the British prime minister or U.S. secretary of state clear their statements with Richard Perle? For the War Party has blood in its nostrils and is headed for Damascus. Speaking at UCLA, for Americans for Victory over Terrorism, a War Party front, ex-CIA Director James Woolsey declared that this war is about far...

Someone once said those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. Winston Churchill began warning early and unrelentingly that Adolf Hitler had to be stopped. Those leaders who decried military action insisted that giving Hitler a few more concessions would surely result in a peaceful solution. Nearly everyone called Churchill "a warmonger." Still, he never wavered because he believed he was right. A short time ago my daughter graduated from Eastern Mennonite High School. For those of you who may not know, Mennonites are pacifists in the truest sense of the word. They don't believe in justification for war...

JEWISH COMMUNITIES ON THE WEST BANK ARE AN OBSTACLE TO WAR By Don Feder September 27, 2002 The most widely accepted myth of Arab propagandists is that Jewish communities (AKA: settlements) in Judea and Samaria (AKA: The West Bank) are an obstacle to peace. The opposite is true: They are a barrier to the final jihad planned by Yasser Arafat and his unholy warriors. Jewish roots are sunk deep in the hill country of Judea and Samaria – the region’s names from Biblical times until the Jordanian occupation of 1948-1967, when the Hashemite Kingdom renamed the area the West Bank...

Church leaders, backed by the Archbishop of Canterbury elect, lent support to the campaign against war on Iraq yesterday by warning Tony Blair that military action against Saddam Hussein would be “immoral and illegal”.As MPs stepped up their demands for a recall of Parliament, bishops and other religious leaders endorsed a “Christian Declaration” signed by nearly 3,000 people that was delivered to 10 Downing Street. The document, prepared by the Pax Christi anti-war group, condemned efforts to link action against Iraq with the “war on terrorism”.“We deplore any military action that regards the deaths of innocent men, women and children as...

What we are witnessing looks like joint preparations by the Palestinian Authority, Syria, its Lebanese client, Iraq, and Iran, for war on a regional scale, against both Israel and U.S. interests. I fear we may face a major, sudden, external assault on Israel, meant to precede U.S. action against the Saddam Hussein regime in Iraq, and indeed prevent the U.S. from going there by enmiring it in the defence of Israel.
