Absolutely love the BRP. I usually take a top to bottom trip (mile marker 0 to 469) every year or so. I didn’t make it this year because of back issues, but hopefully, next year!

Long ago I lived in Franklin county Virginia for a couple
of years and had my job situation worked out so that part
of my workday commute was on the BRP.

I bypassed Roanoke to the southeast from route 220 south
of Roanoke to route 460 east of Roanoke on the BRP.

It made for a pleasant commute. Just had to be on the
lookout for deer though. Never hit any up there, but I came close.
