That Presidential Palace lit up picture reminds me of my neighbor's Christmas display.I had a similar thought when I first saw the photo. It's a little hokey for a prez palace, IMO.

That picture doesn't give them much to brag about. The public buildings look new and modern, that last picture looks dismal.
Thanks for posting the dose.

Wow! Those topics in that setting?!I think of the world leaders who have been GWB's peers during his time in office, I think Prime Minister Howard, former Japanese Prime Minister Koizumi and British Prime Minister Tony Blair will continue to be his close friends after Jan. 2009.

We have "problems" in the USA, like obesity due to a surplus of food, that Third World nations wish they had.

Sorry, my fault, the President is in Japan now.
I thought he was still in Vietnam. Somebody send me the agenda.

Yeah, I saw the great dress picture. I was hoping there was another one that showed how it hung. You know, full length.

how come putin never takes his wife along on these trips????Maybe he does, but we never see her. Or maybe he likes to be free to play around. I don't like Putin one little bit.

Watching him sing Elvis songs Karaoke style was classic. It's nice when world leaders can relax and be themselves. It wont kill you to show the world that you're human. Nobody believes you are a superhuman robot with a 700 IQ who can solve all of the world's problems through your sheer intellect.
Except the poor voters who blindly pull the lever for anybody with a D next to their name.
