Until recent decades, America's leadership acknowledged through America's laws and its public discourse its dependence upon the Supreme Power of that Being who, as the Founders stated, is the "Ruler of Nations."
An America that ignores God's commandments and His sustaining power is a vulnerable America. Perhaps it is time to reconsider the Founding ideas in this time of emergency!
Unfortunately, the ideas of the founders may become even more distant. We are poised for a grand assault of American Bill of Rights including gun rights. Freepers are mad and justifiably so but even many of they will probably applaud a civil liberties and gun rights crackdown. The hysteria will could be completely out of control. Let's hope Dubya keeps his head. We are depending on him.
