Has Mondale lost his memmory or does he think Minnesotans are that Gullible?
Fox News Compilation | Mondale

Posted on 11/02/2002 6:53:17 AM PST by ODDITHER

Has anyone else noticed the bizarre statements in the last few day by Mondale? The inconsistencies and reversals? Is he that out of touch or does he have that much contempt for the Minnesota voters?

When he announced his canidacy (not the infamous hate-fest) but the next day, reporters asked him if he was going to debate Coleman friday night he answered that his aides working on that. They asked him three times in three different ways and he finally said yes, my aides are working out those details.

3 hours later he said that he was not going to debate Coleman on Friday night because he only had five days to campaign and he felt that it was much more important to hold town meetings and find out what is important to Minnesotans.

3 hours later, at his first campaign rally when asked if he felt that he could get up to speed in five days, he said I live in Minnesota and I know what is important to Minnesotans.

Yesterday he chastised the Republicans for running negative ads, when none had been run by the Republican party as attack ads against Coleman were being aired on Television.

Is he senile or does he think Minnesotans can't put two and two together and come up with four? Don't cha know.

Boats we got. The problem is, it'll ruin the photo op if all our refugees are trolling for walleyes while they flee leftist tyranny.

I'm thinking this new Conservative Homeland would basically cover all the U.S. territory surrounding Lake Superior, so why not call it ... "Superior?" The opportunities for snotty wordplay about the rest of the country are limitless.

O.J. Simpson was just a running back for the Buffalo Bills.

Well, not just a running back.

Hate to confess my ignorance, but, what the heck is "trolling for walleyes"? Is it kinda like "dialing for dollars"???? I'm not a guy -----is it a "guy thing"????

Anyway - I like the Conservative Homeland deal - I like the "Superior" deal - but you're going to have to draw the boundary lines a little more squiggly.....We have to include the refugees from NJ.....Maybe have kind of a tunnel-like thing going on with the boundary ( like the Underground Railroad). We'll find it - can't be worse than out highway road signs which are legendary in their obscurity.

We can also start work on establishing news networks ....if the election goes like it did in '94 ( hey God, can you hear me now? ) we can call it the HissyFit Network ( HFN instead of CNN ).....

Don't sell Fritzie short!! It is not that Minnesotans are that gulible, it is that they are stupid and that democrats are that crooked. This fix is in. Even as we speak, democrat election officials are stuffing ballot boxes with votes for Fritzie and resubmitting the 5000 or so early ballots cast for Wellstone with 50,000 early ballots for Fritzie. Who cares what he says or does? He's in for at least 6 months and then will be replaced by one of the dems two favorite types, a flaming ultra-leftist, pinko commie (like Paul) or a clever thief, able to steal/divert millions of state money into private pockets (like Davis).

Every time I see her picture, I can't help wondering what Slick was under the influence of when he plowed her furrow. I'd have sex with Rosanne Barr before her! Yeeech!

The demonRATs count on it and the electorate usually does not disappoint. As Alfred E. Neuman's campaign slogan says: "You could do a lot worse, and you usually do."

As far as Mondale goes, please someone . . . do an intervention on those eyeglasses. Talk about Stuck in the Seventies!

He looks like an owl--a very ugly owl.

Actually, they match those worn by Erskine Bowles in North Carolina, and he had the gall to do a TV commercial which had a child say something to him like, "...you sure wear ugly glasses!"

Maybe the 70's crowd sees this as a nostalgia thing and will put Hillary back in her eyeglasses, no makeup and hair-parted-in-the-middle style (see early pics of her in Arkansas) when she runs for President.

The Dems are desperate to keep Mondale out of the voters' view. The more his senility is revealed, the worse his chances, even in a Vote Stupid state like Minnesota.

Do they think we're idiots?!?!

Yes.

They are counting on it. And they may be right.

Nonetheless, even if they are wrong, they will be right for nearly the majority of the voting public. If that faactoid doesn't scare you about America's future, nothing will!

I saw a clip of Mondale on FOX News this morning, after a day of campaigning (only 3 or 4 stops) -- he seemed to have had a slight "tremor" of the head that he was making an attempt to control. My Father-in-Law has Parkinson's, and when he overdoes it, or is tired, he has almost the same type of tremor, which is why I noticed it...did anyone else see this or was I imagining it ?

I live in New Jersey ( please, keep the laughter down )

Earplugs here in Monmouth County usually work...especially with the Staten Island transplantees.
