Jeb Bush comes out in favor of illegal alien driver's licenses

The Stein Report has learned that Florida Governor Jeb Bush today endorsed granting driver's licenses to illegal aliens. Bush's position comes despite the fact that several of the Sept. 11 hijackers used Florida driver's licenses, and driver's license security remains a pressing issue nationwide. Bush reportely commented that illegal immigrants should be kept out of the country, but once they are here they shouldn't be ignored.

When those licenses were issued, they were here legally. The hijackers (all but one I believe) entered the country legally, and overstayed their visas.

Uh, "overstayed their visas" means they were here illegally. So unless the state that issued the licenses also issues licenses to illegals, their licenses were also illegal, or null and void.

The fact remains that at the time that those licenses were issued, they were not here illegally.

Were they illegal aliens AT THE TIME THE LICENSES WERE ISSUED JOE?

NO, they were not illegal aliens at the time their licenses were issued. They had students visas, and were issued licenses based on the fact that while they were here, they had to drive.

Now, what does the fact that the hijackers had driver's licenses, issued to them prior to their becoming illegal aliens, have to do with Jeb Bush (allegedly) saying that illegal aliens should be able to get driver's licenses Joe?

Now, sit down while you figure out the answer to that question...I don't want you to faint from the strain of having to actually use your brain.
