All y'all have no problem labeling Sherman a war criminal, in spite of the fact that CONGRESS and the Courts didn't prove or call him one. What give y'all that right?

Actually, I wouldn't have called him one.
Though it's my understanding he was outright arrogant and a drunkard.
But I wouldn't call him a war criminal.
It isn't my place to do so.
