I've never posted a straight Vanity before.
But I am sick and tired of this good conservative, generally religious site being overrun by people posting "I'd hit it", whenever a picture of a good-looking girl is displayed.
It's demeaning, it's immoral, and I guess I'm just a prude but announcing to the world that you'd like to have sex with a woman based on her picture, like she was some object, hardly seems like the appropriate attitude on a conservative political site.
But rather than post in response to any particular person, I figured I'd just vent here where everybody could see and make fun of me.
So go ahead. I thank you for whatever indulgence you have given me in this rant.
Back to your regularly scheduled oggling and hitting.

Yes, it’s just like those “Bush’s fault” ones. At first they were cute, then they were annoying, then it was just repetitive and derivative and stupid and unbearable.
I think that’s what happened with me and the “hit it” stuff. I’m pretty sure I laughed the first time.....

So when you look at women, you don’t immediately know, deep down, whether or not you’d like to have sex with them?
At least we are honest.
Also, I would add, its not an actual “I’d hit it”. Most of us are married and wouldn’t hit it. It’s more of a hypothetical would you hit it.
On the other hand, given the object of my vanity, there are some who might question my characterization of this vanity as “straight”.

I’ve always hated those posts where people just change a line and then say “There, I fixed it for you” as if you were too stupid to know how stupid the thing was you were talking about.
But wait, I shouldn’t hijack my own thread with ancillary complaints. Besides, I’ve got enough people on my case already.

As long as we girls get to post pictures of guys we’d hit, I have no problem with it.
Some Freepers do seem to have this fixation on “any guy better looking than me MUST be gay”, but that’s to compensate for other little issues I believe ;)
I haven't gone back and proven it, but I think I am the one that invented that on FR. If not the inventor I was the earliest adopter. Don't take away the greatest achievment of my life.
But the "I'd hit it" mindset is demeaning to women (even if a few of them think it's funny) ... and a departure from the standards of chilvalry, manhood, honor, and fidelity in marriage that should characterize a conservative, pro-family site.
Well, give us choices!

(2) I'd SCROLL DOWN through that content!
