Might be about that time she decided to make sure Barry got the privileges of being an “American” and registered his birth late in Hawaii, she was in the islands in that time frame, and had mom (a respected resident by that time) witness. Exactly. By a government office that did not yet exist. The Republic of Kenya came into existence on 12 December 1964. This document was printed on 17 February 1964, nearly ten months earlier.
Clearly, the forger overlooked the gap between independence on 12 December 1963 and the founding of the Republic.

One small quibble: It would seem as if Kenya did not make documents called "birth certificates," rather they were referred to as "birth registrations." Nonetheless, the presiding judge in the divorce case likely had no trouble accepting the posted document in lieu of the original Kenyan "birth registration."
Anyone that can prove the truth that’s alive today may be room temperature this evening.

No one is saying this doc is incontrovertible proof of anything. Orly presented it to the court for authentication and that is the news story here. The rest is blog discussion. Period.

Sez "certified copy or registration" right on the top - where's the REAL real one? (Hey, if this logic is good enough to dismiss the Hawaiian birth certificate shouldn't it apply to this one as well?)
