Autumnraine was clearly referring to the Soetoro divorce, so the "child" mentioned there is Maya Soetoro, BHO's half-sister. By the time of Maya's birth abroad, Stanley Ann would have been old enough, and would have resided in the US long enough, to confer American citizenship on her daughter at birth, in contrast to the situation which pertained at the time of Barack's birth.
Right, I wasn’t making a point on HER citizenship, but just how my thought processes had brought me to another section of the constitution. But as other Freepers have pointed out, that amendment was reversed. Ah well, back to the drawing board. If anything, I ought to make a dang 100 in my constitutional law class this fall.
