If you don't like it done to you, then why don't you apply your own standards to yourself and not do it to others? You paint homeschoolers with a broad brush yourself.
My how times have changed. When I went to school, I'd hear, "You aren't here to socialize".

Surely you have grasped this by now, you are only playing at ignorance.
The indoctrination centers, called public schools, are the reason we have mass conformity, ignorant populace and materialistic, moral-relativist people who would elect the likes of a Communist muzzie like zero. The public schools create good little useful idiots, who can’t think logically, are filled with nihilistic, humanist ideas, because of the disinformation in all curricula.
They are taught to scorn the Classics and despise Christianity, (which is the opposite of what the homeschoolers like Lincoln and Theodore Rooselvelt were taught), and to be dependent on people of authority for all aspects of life (such as permission for even using a toilet). They are encouraged to be infantile, not think outside the box, and to think unnatural, destructive lifestyles are good.
But worst, they are taught to be nonjudgmental so they embrace everything into their life that will destroy them and their loved ones. They are embracing cultural suicide.
haha! this is funny... just about every homeschool kid i know has taken some sort of martial arts... no kidding... karate, tae kwon doe, kick boxing... in addition to that, many of the ones i know, know how to properly use a gun... the homeschoolers i know are not of the "walk away" ilk. they are of the, "i have the right to defend myself and my property," genre... my public schooled nephews are not allowed to play with toy guns, war games, or even pretend guns made out of other objects... they cannot even wear anything camo!
you obviously do not know many homeschoolers... ask my boys what their mommy taught them about defending themselves... if they get hit, they can hit back--but they better hit hard... if they want, they can give a warning--but it must be a strong, and they had better mean it... mommy got into a few fights too in her day... that's not to mention what their daddy has taught them... just the other day he was helping them with moves as they tested out the new boxing gloves they got for Christmas... to say daddy got into a few fights in his day is an understatement...
Mine would “whup out the nine” and blast the thug to Kingdom come.
One less thug for the rest of society to deal with.
The author of this article is a good example of that.
Public schools are a fairly recent development and farming kids out for the day is not a natural way to raise or educate children.
Those who think that this is a good idea, when it's been such a clear abysmal failure, are deluded. There is precious little education going on in those buildings, as evidenced by the falling standardized test and SAT scores. When the tests have to be dumbed down because so many are having a problem getting acceptable grades, we're in bigger trouble than people like West are aware of.
If the state of the public schools is an example of what the government can do to or with something that is supposed to be its *core responsibility*, we are so screwed.
It's hard to believe that people are so deluded that they really fail to see the plain truth in front of them.
What the liberals don't realize yet, is that homeschoolers are not going to take the loss of their freedom to homeschool laying down.
Remember HR6. Kind of like Molon Labe.

When I went thru public school decades ago - the standards were high, teachers respected and competent and you LEARNED. Those standards are few and far between in public schools nowadays. It is not just our say-so, but that of standardized tests over the years - dropping like a rock. Though today my kids have all finished high school - I want my grandkids to be able to be home schooled too and receive an education - not an indoctrination.

Ones I know can shoot, athletic and don’t take crap. As for the few that are you’re typical “nerds,” at homeschools they develop inherent belief that they are good, not just because of how they look or act but who they are.
