The only way to get main stream media to cover Obama like they would cover any red-blooded American is to call them out by name - INDIVIDUALLY.
To criticize the bias of “the media” is lame at best. But name names. Like citing Brian Williams by name, for example. This would certianly draw their attention because then everyone has a “target.” (Forgive the word target - it is meant only as a metaphor).
When anyone notices criticism of left-wing media bias and individuals’ names are mentioned with specific instances of commission or omission, get it noted on FreeRepublic

You're right that it doesn't matter, since both are legally part of the host nation of the base. Being born "beyond the seas" to American citizen parents, in the Constitutional language of 1795, means being born a citizen. It does not mean being a natural born citizen. There is a difference between the two. The fact that the host nation can and often does claim those born in their territory as their own citizens as well is the problem, and why a natural born citizen has to be born here of citizen parents.
Would you want a citizen of Italy to have been President of the United States during World War II, when we were at war with fascist Italy under Mussolini? It's a problem. That's why it's precluded.

You really, really believe that John McCain, the son and grandson of Naval war heroes, born in 1936 in the Canal Zone while his parents were serving on a US military installation, is in the same class as Obama? McCain was born outside the Panama Canal Zone,in Colon,Panama. Military bases in foreign countries are NOT considered U.S. Soil.
