I am neither teasing you nor poking at you. If you have law that says one must be 2nd Generation American from either parental side to be a “Natural Born Citizen” I will tip my hat.
Oh, I am 4th generation German on one side, 3rd Generation Irish on the other. My wife is from Mexico and is an American Citizen. Are you saying our children are not “Natural Born Citizens” because she is not 2nd Generation American?

MY brother and I were first generation citizens, i. e. we were born in the USA to parents who were immigrants and not naturalized. We could not be POTUSA but fought for our citizenship in WWII. No regrets on my part and I think the same went for my brother who was killed in the battle for Okinawa.
