NS=Non Sequitur, a now banned poster who argued the pro-union side on the WBTS threads and who, even now, strikes abject fear into the Lost Cause Losers here.
And for good reason - he routinely kicked ass whenever he went up against one of these guys. It was moderately amusing to see them fight like leftist schoolgirls against him. Come to think of it - they still do “fight” that way!

Don't know why you include me in that post.
That could be NS or not, I don't know but I can spot trolls a mile away.
If you read the post I responded to, then check the posters history, you'll see it too.

“American foreign policy revolves around Israel. We are in two wars, and threatening a third for Israel’s security not our own.”
I stopped reading there.

Meanwhile, slavery was legal in the North and Lincoln stated he had no desire to end it, so what’s your point?

So, what offenses exactly did President Buchanan commit against "States rights, self reliance and the 10th amendment" to justify secession? The people of the South wanted Independence it wasn't for anyone else but them to decide its merits. The people voted on it. It wasn't forced on to them. The Federal Govt was pressuring the South with Tariffs and ending slavery in territories because they were to remain "lilly" white. 90% of the whites in the South held no slaves, this wasn't about slavery. Actually competing with plantations factories was no bargain for the average southern farmer.
Mostly the slavery issue gave the average Southerner an excuse to kill the overbearing arrogant Yankees legally, with free ammunition. A feeling I find hard not to relate too.

Yea. He said that even though he didn’t agree with the repeal of DADT, he considered service personnel true professionals and didn’t think that it would destroy the military.

So are you going on record as agreeing with that statement?

Eh, go read his posting history, it's still here.
I have never been called a troll in over 18,000 posts, except for once and that was from a Paulbot who was desperately losing an argument.
NS was labeled troll by many a FReeper who have been here longer than I, and apparently by JimRob too.

Many Americans ancestors arrived after the war. Italians, central Europeans, Greeks, and almost all the Latino's have no direct connection to the war, or the division of the nation. In fact, most of these people have no connection to the founding of the nation. They came for material wealth, not liberty and freedom. I have a problem with comments like that which I have in bold.
I know plenty of Central and Eastern Europeans whose ancestors (or themselves) were driven out of their country due to tyranny.

The haters are just like clockwork.
Their goal is to hijack any and all discussions related to the Civil War and to use them to further their agenda of trashing the South and its people.
And as wardaddy has said if you scratch a South-hater don’t be surprised to find an America-hater underneath. They often are one and the same.
