1 Corinthians 13:1-3
Your 'heroes' would do well to familiarize themselves with that passage. They would also do well to understand that God is God ... and they are not. You, sir, would do well to refrain from attempted mind reading. You're no good at it.
I have nothing further to say ... your 'heroes' will doubtless have much more to say ... and they will continue to prove me right
factually accurate,
***Then you do not deny the accuracy of the facts. There are some here who are lined up to call you a bigot.
Do you accuse Christ of not having love (as in 1Cor13) when He confronted the false teachers of His day, calling them ‘sons of the devil’? Did He somehow do it reeeealllly nicely, and soft and butter-fly like, and gentle and oh-so-warmheartedly? Or was He more like a Lion of Judah when he confronted these wolves?
I know, I know, I’ll get nothing but crickets from you on the questions because the answer is obvious, and the followup about Christ’s followers doing what Christ did is also obvious. You’re left with no leg to stand on, so you deliver silence. You presume to tell Christ how He should go about His business.
They aint my ‘heroes’. Christ is my Hero. And He confronted the false teachers of His day, just like these other followers of Christ are doing. Would you accuse my Hero of lacking in Love when He called false teachers, “sons of the devil”?
By your silence, obviously not. But it doesn’t stop you from going into the weeds scripturally to try to pile more requirements on Christ’s followers than what Christ did Himself.
