0bama defeated the democratic principals of personal freedom , trashes the U.S.Constitution . and steals from hard working , successful Americans to feed his commie regime ,,, now that's something I'm sure he's very proud of . If Joe McCarthy were alive today he'd say ,,,, “ SEE !!! ,, I told you so “ .

If Romney had won the same number of votes Sarah got in 2008, he’d be President Elect Romney now.

Obama’s reelection is similar to FDR election to 2nd Term. Both men ended first term with unemployment lower then initial but still very high and a gov that spent into deficit with economy stagnate. FDR appealed to voters for more time because the Depression caused by Hoover is more severe then normal. Obama claims the same against GWB. Biggest factor is what I call the life line factor. Like the Great Depression, American workers truly cannot get jobs and trapped in homes whose value is less then the mortgage owed. 99 weeks of unemployment and food stamps is keeping the unemployed worker and his family comfortable. Obama offers to do what it takes to keep this life line open till the economy recovers, Romney hints austerity. I know freepers do not like this, but study why hungry people gravitate to parties or leaders that are bad in their long term interests. When things get bad, people worry about the next few days not the consequences of the next few decades. That is how bad things got since 2008. If socialism will feed you the next several months vs capitalism that says man up when jobs do not exist, people out of desperation will gravitate to socialism. The only hope for return of conservatism is the business cycle turns on its own despite gov and jobs become more available. When more Americans can leave food stamps and have jobs, then the issue of keeping more of their take home pay will swing them back to smaller gov and less taxes. Right now up to 16 percent of Americans are unemployed or underemployed with more giving up looking for work (on food stamps or disability). Gov entitlements have become a necessity to survive for today and financial collapse is an issue to be dealt with tomorrow. Yes it seems like short term thinking but the GOP and Conservatives need to understand Maslov’s Hierarchy of Needs. One cannot contemplate visions of free capitalism if the first critical needs (security, food, shelter) are not met.

The real defeat was earlier. For 4 years, hardly anyone fought back against the leftist narrative that the financial crisis was due to deregulation, greedy bankers, and the Bush tax cuts. The GOP-e followed Bush 43 in turning the other cheek to the lying media hyenas.

That set the stage for Fauxcahontas and the occupy B.S. apologists to build on the anti-capitalist propaganda. Never mind Corzine, Cuomo, Dodd, Frank, and all the other liberal wall Street scumbags.

Levin, Rush, and Newt are not enough. Failure to question the premises of the lib media has huge consequences.

Can’t lie. The Tea Party’s voice was supressed by the Rinos this election. Bammy went far left, race and class division and hate and all.

There was a void on the other side. The message was vote for Romney because he’s a nice white rich guy and has a nice pretty wife. No ideology of constitutional freedom and ideals and no talk of unity beyond race (confrontation with the Left’s race hate scheme) offered in the election. No going after Obamacare (death panels) because we have to pretend to support Romneycare. No talk about systematic sexual molestation and abuse of Americans at the airports.

We are not, however, defeated. The Rinos are going to step on their cranks.

Given that the popular vote percentages were about the same as 2008, it seems like neither the Tea Party nor the Occupy losers can exactly say they had a big impact.

(shrug)
It all comes down to the same thing - - the parasites outnumber the hosts; the eaters outnumber the producers; the moochers reelected their president and America is dead. The Democrats won. Whatever.. The scum won’t get anything from me, lol.
I’ve been preparing.

Yes, sadly, the occutards did succeed - much more than the drug addled losers that actually showed up for most of the public property camping even realize.

Occupy changed the discussion in this country. We had been focused on debt. It was a huge issue and looked to dominate 2012. That’s not how it turned out though. Occupy mostly wiped that discussion from the forefront and the media ended up talking about “fairness” and Obama’s “balanced approach” right through the election.

So yeah, much as I despise these non producing bums, they were successful.

Governor Palin, the previous vice-presidential candidate was shut out by Romney, from the convention, as I think the tea party in general was.

Palin did give us our only Senate pick up with long shot Deb Fischer against Senator, war hero with the Medal of Honor, and navy SEAL, Bob Kerry, and she gave us Ted Cruz over Dewhurst, along with house seats, Palin had a pretty good election.

Romney was a disaster for the GOP, he left so much on the table.

Mitt Romney defeated Mitt Romney. He was simply a terrible candidate, and it’s time to stop blaming everybody else.

Scott Brown is Sarah Palin???

Sheeeeyit. Scott Brown is as "moderate" as a moderate Republican gets.

That is to say he's as Liberal as a Liberal gets.

The fact that he couldn't beat a lying fake lawyer (or is that a fake lying lawyer?) who most likely got ahead in her career by taking a spot designed to help someone else get ahead in his or her career by tilting the playing field in his or her favor speaks more for the folly of Moderatism than it does about The Tea Party.
