That was straight up suicide by cop.
He shoplifted, made sure the cops were called, neatly put his stolen items on the sidewalk, waited for them, moved so bystanders wouldn’t be in line of fire, screamed “shoot me” repeatedly, and fast moved into “kill or die” range.
Pepper spray is a condiment.
Batons are contact range weapons. Fights involving a knife at contact range result in people getting cut.
The guy got exactly what he wanted: shot dead by cops.

Well perhaps yo will join the ‘community organizers’ gathering in Ferguson who’s sole goal is to be disruptive and trash things. I don’t know how old you are but if you are of an age to remember the 60s riots then you will likely remember that the only goal then was the same. There is an effort by the likes of O and his lackeys to totally destroy the US and its constitution. This is one way to do it.
I am tired of the bashing of policeman who actually do there job and risk their life on a daily basis for the community. No not all cops are good and decent people but most are. I would take a cop any day of the week over a bureaucrat with a DC mind set.
I do not know the specifics of your case ( nor are they important to the discussion). What I know is that it is wrong to generalize from an instance
