Here are some figures to show how many OTM's (other than Mexican's) get across the Mexican border. And, you might be surprised ( I was) to know that there is a growing number of Mexicans converting to Muslimism.

SUMMERY
The INS / Border Patrol apprehended 929,809 deportable aliens along the southwest border during FY 2002. From the above data, you can see that 1,012,429 of the total INS service wide apprehended aliens claimed to have illegally crossed the southwest border. On these two figures alone, we now that 82,620 illegal aliens slipped past the INS / Border Patrol.
The INS / Border Patrol estimates that they apprehend approximately 40% to 60% of the illegal aliens crossing into the United States, depending on who you speak with.
Independent immigration experts estimate that the INS / Border Patrol apprehends only 10% to 20% of the illegal aliens crossing into the United States.
From my personnel experience and knowledge, the independent experts estimates are more accurate.
For this presentation, I will use an apprehension ratio of 33%.
If the INS / Border Patrol has apprehended 929,809 illegal aliens along the south west border in fy 2002, then it is reasonable to assume that approximately 1,859,618 may have slipped pass the INS / Border Patrol.
This is an average of over 5,000 illegal aliens entering the United States undetected daily.
Here are some numbers to help put this into perspective:
US and Allied troops that invaded Normandy in 1944 = 250,000+
US troops that invaded Okinawa in 1945 = 550,000+
Illegal aliens that have invaded the United States in FY 2002 = 1.8 million +
On annual illegal immigration, the Center for Immigration Studies has extrapolated the latest Census data to show that Census data suggest that 700,000 to 800,000 new illegal aliens are settling each year. Now, far, far more than that enter illegally each year, but there is a lot of back and forth. The 700,000 to 800,000 represents illegals who truly settle in for at least a couple of year, and usually much, much longer.

According to the local police chief in Somerville Mass. when he called the INS for assistance with illegals, the INS said they were too busy and couldn't do anything.
This was on TV, hopefully I was not the only viewer.

If I was the Police Chief I would have called my Congressional Rep and arranged for the call to be on TV. The I would have asked the Rep, "Can you get this corected or do I need to apply for federal funds to build a illegal alien detainment center?"

Do I have all the answers? No!! But I have a $hitload of questions that my Reps. do not want to answer. As for chaos and conflict, the world only dishes that out to the ones that kneel and beg for it. Make your own. It is not inevitable.
Greener pastures. There is nothing wrong with my pastures. They just need a bit of cleaning. Pick up the trash and take it off. Plant more grass in the bare spots. And yes I am plugging the holes in the dyke. That keeps the flood from coming in until you can build a new one.
Please try to get(buy, beg, borrow, steal) a backbone. This poor little me just can't do anything or make up my mind is really getting annoying.
I really am trying not to put you down but.............

if you mean that what I've described is Bush's plan for Iraq , I hope you're rigth but it doesn't look that way.
If you mean Bush's plan for defending our southern border you're dead wrong. He's quite clearely on Mexico's side for that battle.
The only way to salove this problem is to never ever vote for anyone from Texas , California , Arizona or New Mexico. Those states are already lost. Anyone getting the nomination from either party from those states might as well be a Mexican agent on the imegration issue.
Politicains from other states are going to have to do battle with the politicains from those states to even begin to stem the invation.

Oh, and I suppose you think that politicians from NY, NJ or say South Dakota are better....lol!
The solution is to walk-away from the two-party system, but that would take people who can actually think....

How much foreign aid do we give Mexico? Isn't the aid given so that they can better the conditions of their citizens?
Given the amount of illegals crossing the border, it seems this money is being mis-spent, probably going into some politicos Swiss account.
I say stop all aid to Mexico and demand payment in full of all outstanding debts Mexico has with us . . . unless "they" stop the flow of illegals across our border.
ACLU can't complain because it will be Mexican Federales who at times will go overboard with prople trying to cross the border and not our Boarder Patrol or INS agents.
BTW, did you know that when people try to cross from Guatemala to Mexico, the Mexican governments response is to shoot first and don't ask any questions later.
Reeks of the pot calling the kettel black when they complain about how the US treats illegals crossing the boarder. Last time I checked we weren't shooting illegals on site like the Mexican government does

Deport 'em. The INS needs reform. We have a legal Nigerian alien in our church who has been waiting for his wife's visa to be granted for SEVEN YEARS but these terrorists walk right in the door.
Deport 'em. But that will never happen. Too many bleeding hearts.

OMG, there are some really brain-dead people in this country.
Anyone remember Reagan's Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1986 that declared amnesty for illegal immigrants as a one-time deal.
Now Bush is about to do an instant re-play to pander to the Hispanic voting base....
You people just don't get it....THE ELITES WHO RUN THE TWO-PARTY SYSTEM THAT HAS A STRANGLEHOLD ON AMERICA IS THE PROBLEM!
