About a month ago, ex-addict Penny Wood avoided a prison term by agreeing to let authorities use these before-and-after photos of her to steer people away from the ravages of methamphetamine use. Now, she regrets the deal, saying the fliers have become an embarrassment for her, her children and grandchildren. (AP Photo/Pekin Times, Tazwell County State's Attorney) |

That's not a real extreme case either. More typical.
I know people like this.
I've spoken before of the girls my wife and I are raising. Their mother, a woman we have known for a very long time, could be the woman in those pictures. Sad, but true.
But the WOD isn't doing anything meaningful about it.

Yeah victimless crime Rights-violating acts like vehicular homicide and rape are also committed under the influence of alcohol---but while the rights-violating acts are and will remain illegal, this is not a sufficient argument for banning alcohol and is therefore nto a sufficient argument for keeping other drugs banned.

They also use Uhauls, travel around and then abandon them. They look for deserted barns, and farmhouses. Also you have to be careful who you rent a house to-- I read horror stories about the cleanup the owner is responsible for. Coming soon to a place near you. Also known to cause schizophrenia.
