Since you live on a farm, fleas are going to be alot harder to get rid of. However, do you have horses? If so, what color is your house? There are a lot of things that can be done for flies now a days.

Yes. There are experts. Just like I'm an expert at pest control. I'm only good at writing, but you oughtta see me at pest control. I can live eat and breathe insect activity. I guess that makes me good at battling liberalism. I used to lower forms of life. :) OK, here's a test. How do you get rid of ants??? We have ants who think they are relatives. They never leave!
To: Faith
Thank you. I know I can always rely on a little faith.
;-) Thank you for being part of this great forum.

One. What state are you in? Two. What kind of ants are they? Small or large? Black or red? Or are they black and red and medium sized? It all starts with identification. Then, you go from the source.

"Kind" is generally not a word most folks around here would use to describe me :)
I've been around - it was just a really weird summer for me, but I think I'm starting to get out of the mallaise that has been affecting me. (school starting ha something to do with that!!!)

Bay leaves and borax. Keeps them out of places.
Sugar laced with Arsenic they will carry to kill the queen in your gates. Ant traps.
Find the wet places they are hiding in and dry them out.

The term "farm" was definitely meant as a joke, although we do live out in the country and have about 2 acres...........but no horses!!!!

Don't jump the gun. First off. You don't want people just handling arsenic. This industry doesn't even use that stuff anymore. Borax is a good idea because it's boric acid. It all depends on the ant as well.

Thanks for the ping-a-ling....I almost didn't hear it, due to the sound of the "DING - DING - DING" as CBS goes down for the eight count.

"I am forever grateful for this new media."
Since you said FR has some fine minds, let me tease you with mine to remind you the singular of "media" is "medium." But since your syntax allows a potential poetic license use, I'll let it slide ;)
