We have received the following letter from a Mr. Katz, a graduate of Bard College, Class of 1971:
Matt May, in his recent article, erroneously states that Cornelius "Chevy"Chase, is a graduate of Bard College. This error may be due to Chase himself falsely claiming to having graduated from Bard. The ONLY degree that Chase has ever received from Bard, is an honorary degree, reputedly after donating a large sum of money to the college. I challenge Chase to offer documentation to refute this statement of fact.
Chase, who called President Bush "a dumb [obscenity]" is remined that the object of his scorn graduated Yale and Harvard Business School, and scored around the 95th percentile on his SAT exams. Mr. Chase has specialized in playing comedy roles as a stupid oaf.

Great post. I'm looking forward to the followup of the challenge.
Or as Laura Ingraham says, "Shut up and sing"
You're an actor, that's your job. It doesn't make you any smarter or more astute.
It grants you no authority to call our Commander-in-Chief anything except "Sir", just like the rest of us.
You're a funny person, when you're doing your job.
Just do your damn job, and spare us your asinine observations.
Perhaps Mr. Chase isn't playing the role of a stupid oaf, as it apparently comes naturally!
Look at it this way... If he had EARNED a college degree, what does that say about the state of higher education?
I liked him in Fletch I, National Lampoon Vacation was ok, and the Christmas movie was good. Too bad I'll never watch those movies again, or any of his future projects. Nice work, Chevy, and goodbye.
The blonde's oil massage in Caddyshack was his best-ever scene. He was also good at imitating Gerald Ford falling down.
Shoot, I forgot Caddyshack. I can't give up Caddyshack.
