people with values and morals do run the school district where I live.

You are truly blessed. MU is left of Berkley/Duke, etc and it filters down to HS districts around here.

The only thing I really enjoy shopping for is books.

Me, too.........especially cookbooks....I bought 8 of them on my expedition New Year's Eve.

I do know how blessed we are with our school district.

Granted, it wasn't easy to find and many are unable to move, as we chose to do....but the good school districts can be found for those who for various reasons can not homeschool or utilize private schools.
