Brian Duprey, 38, is a born again Christian who attends services in a Baptist church. Mr. Duprey is married with five children. He owns several businesses. He also happens to be a member of the House of Representatives in Augusta, Maine. He has introduced several bills this session. One of them is to prevent the State of Maine from using our tax dollars to pay for a sex change. The legislature didn't even consider it. Imagine believing Our Father created a male as a male and a female likewise. Unfortunately we have a large majority of liberal Democrats and Republican legislators in Augusta who "professing themselves to be wise, they became fools." (Rom. 1:22) and have decided that Our Father is so incompetent that He cannot bring forth anything in a correct manner so our tax dollars should be used to correct His mistakes.
A local newspaper recently asked Mr. Duprey if he didn't see a sex change as corrective surgery? He replied' "To correct what? A mistake God made? No, I don't think so. God doesn't make mistakes."
But the Governor of Maine, John Baldacci, and his administration does. So does the majority of the members of the Maine House of Representatives and the Maine Senate who happen to be liberal Democrats and liberal Republicans. They all hold one agenda close to their vests, to destroy Bible believing Christianity in this state while forcing Bible believing Christians into the closet. They have been succeeding in this effort for longer than I care to remember as born again Christians in this state hide behind stained glass windows, afraid to speak out on the out and out perversions engulfing this state.
These born again Christians need our prayers,

Also, I wouldn't use the "God doesn't make mistakes" argument against liberals seeking tax dollars for a sex-change operation because they would apply it against someone needing correction of a common birth defect such as cleft palate.
A better argument would be what any insurance company would use-- we don't pay for elective or cosmetic surgery for a non-medical necessity.
Maine ping
That was certainly not the intention of the author or the paper.
It was even on Fox News yesterday about how the Dems aren't Bible believing Christians (most of them) and how they are really trying to undermine the beliefs of Americans. Very frightening, to say the least.
We, all of us at CNIM and ACP, agree 100%.
So, God wants some people to have cleft palates, eh?
Now, that is by far one of the most assine comments I have yet to see on FR.
You must not of heard about people born with genitalia of both sexes.
Well, if God doesn't make mistakes and people are born with cleft palates, God must want them to have them, right? Also - if God doesn't make mistakes, then He must have made transgendered people the way they are, presumably complete with a desire for a sex-change.
Come to think of it, if God doesn't make mistakes, He must want Baldacci to be Governor....
When a people rejects God's will long enough, he gives them up to the idols in their hearts...We got Baldacci and the liberals because we didn't want to do things God's way. very simply put...
Well, I can't claim any prophetic insight here - but here's my take on this issue;
An omnipotent and omniscient (all powerfull, all knowing) Deity will hardly be making a lot of "mistakes" in the process of creation. But notice I said "won't" instead of "can't".
There is nothing in the Cosmos that our Creator does whithout an element of intention - assuming that "mistake" implies a certain element of non-intention.
Most of us make mistakes - some more than others... but few of us make them intentionally.
That's not to say that we have a capricious God who likes to wreak vengance upon his creation out of spite or anger - although the Bible is very clear that God is a God of justice, every bit as much as he is a God of mercy and Love.
A lot of us are quick to blame God when tragedy or evil strikes - as in the 9/11/01 attacks or the two precious little girls in Florida who were unspeakably violated, desicrated, and murdered recently by wicked and evil men.
I'm not one of God's accusers.
Sometimes God makes things happen... but more often, I opine, he lets things happen.
So it does not surprise me in the least to observe a connection between the depravity in our government and society and disaster on many levels in our midst. Now a lot of perfectly intelligent people would think me silly (at the very least) to make such a connection, and perhaps I am - but if one is to believe the Bible, there is plenty of precident for it.
Sadly, it is all too often that the "innocent" are the victims of such events; but we, as humanity, are all in this together for good or ill. The distribution of "consequences" seems at times to be quite "unfair".
And I prefer to refer to such events as "consequences" rather than "punishment" or divine retribution.
Our physical universe demonstrates consistant connections between action and reaction; cause and effect.
So it is in the Spiritual realm; in physics, it's "entophy"; a tendacy of all systems to run down and deteriorate.
Peace, holiness, prosperity, and Freedom are prime examples of such systems in the social and Earthly realm.
They are not self - sustaining, and require constant attention and energy in order to prevent natural entrophy.
When neglected, these precious gifts of God will, like anything else, run down and degenerate.
When God "gives over" (notice He does not "give up") a wicked and depraved generation / civlization, entrophy simply and naturally happens.
And an environment of corruption, decay, and decomposition is hardly a pleasent enironment to be living in, is it?
So far from being capricious, God gives us Life, opportunity, and free will. And one of the risks of Freedom is that we are free to blow it. And when we do (as He knew we would), he lets Nature happen - as much as the consequences surely grieve him.
And in the pivitol event of History, the consequences of entrophy, brought about by our collective choice to reject God's Love and game plan for humanity ("original sin", if you will) were lifted from our species in the process of running down to decay and ultimate self - extinction, and focused them instead on one - the Lamb of God, Christ our Saviour.
And he accepted in Love all of the collective consequences for our sin on a cross.
Now we retain that wonderous yet highly dangerous gift of free will, and stupidity is still an option.
But thanks be to God, who is not in the habit of making mistakes as we are, Salvation and Redemption are still options too.
So what does all this have to do with "politics"?
God is still quite concerned about the structure of human society, and who gets to lead or rule over us.
Now I see a certain pattern in History suggesting that in systems where rulers put themselves subordinate to God, things generally went pretty will, and civilization prospered.
When the powerful assumed that they were at the top of the command stucture, however (such as Ceasar, Hitler, Stalin, and Saddam Hussein) human life, for the majority of the oppressed, became a burden to be endured rather than a blessing to be celebrated. And that, dear hearts, is no coincedence.
And what sort of a Government do we have here in Maine? Anyone who is paying the least bit of attention, methinks, knows pretty well.
So yes; if we care for this State and it's people (such as remain here) we need to be not only politically active, but Spritually active as well.
And were I suggest a priority, it would be with the Spiritual. We don't just need a change of administration; we need a radical change of heart, and the rest will follow.
Reformation historically starts with REVIVAL!
With the current Syndicate's ruling style (I will not dignify the Baldacci racket be calling it an "Administration") in celebrating and empowering sodomy and such moral depravity while actively repressing the Community of Christ, I don't need to remind you of who is probably behind and orchestrating it all, do I?
I know that God is beginning to work on the behalf of his Beloved here in Maine, largely because of your faithful prayers and toiling; keep it up!
Societal entrophy can be stopped, and reversed, if it be God's will - and I believe that He wants it to be. Prayer has a lot to do with God's Will, does it not?
I may be wrong - I've been known to be. But I think I hear our Savior calling us to take this Country back; and to take our State back from the occupying enemy.
In order to take our State back, we have to take the State House and Legislature back. We have to take our SCHOOLS back; our MEDIA, and every other key institution that has been infiltrated and taken over by the agents of entrophy and oppresion.
Your humble correspondant, for one, has heard that call and am doing what i can in response.
Perhaps you've heard Kevin and I on Saturday Morning on WLOB. We're starting to get some positive feedback, and to God be the glory!
But there is only so much that one or two of us can do, and entrophy has picked up a lot of momentum around here. How many more have heard that rallying call in your hearts?
We still have choice - will we turn a deaf ear, and deaf heart to this call? We can, you know.
Or might we join our numbers and unite in a Spiritual battle (which might involve some "politics" to be sure) against the formidable host of darkness and decay?
Selah' (give it some thought)
