I considered myself a liberal at one point, even though I voted for Reagan the first election I could vote (I was going into the army the next day, and I'd heard Reagan was good for the military) but I voted for Du-whathisname in '88, figuring he wasn't going to win anyway.

But now I think I was just ignorant.

I'll confess as well. I, too, voted for Dukakis in 1988.("My ancestors were little people. Little swarthy people.")

It was my first time voting, and I come from a looong line of bleeding heart Dems, so I did what my parents did. I had ZERO understanding of politics, the world, or much of anything else.

"I got better."

I am loath to admit it, but I voted for the SoreLoserman when I was first able to vote. The ONLY reason I voted for that DUmmie was because Howard Stern told me to.

I know I was ignorant. ;3
