Speaking at Davis-Monthan AFB in Arizona, Bush is once again talking about immigration reform and more importantly making our borders secure.

This is an issue where everyone has an opinion, but congress needs to sit down and figure this out now. In the recent Homeland Security bill, money was given to the border patrol to increase personnel and build better barriers, but it is not enough.

Immigration reform and secure borders are two issues that need to be looked at as one. We need to control our borders before we can put into place any policy that allows non citizens to stay or work in this country.

The root problem of illegals is Mexico is screwed up. People leave Mexico more than Canada. Bush needs to stop codling the Mexican government.

I have, what I believe to be the type of "work visa" I could live with:

Any illegal already here with a job

(1)Admit which border was illegally breached (Mexico or Canada);
(2)submit to fingerprinting, eye scan and background check to determine if individual has broken any other law besides illegal entry to U.S. to obtain a 12 month "work visa";
(3)at the end of 12 months, run another background check to determine that absolutely no laws have been broken by said individual (if so, said individual immediately returned across border to Mexico or Canada);
(4)submit to such background checks for five (5) years proving themselves to be an asset to U.S. before granting permanent work visas or applying for citizenship.

Employers who have hired said individual to:

(1) Post bond to cover expenses incurred in running background checks and pay fines to cover other expenses that taxpayers have incurred or will incur during said individual's time spent in U.S. illegally;
(2)sign affidavit admitting guilt for knowingly hiring persons illegally in U.S. forfeiting future claim of innocence should said employer be found with other illegals in their employ.

Come on people ask yourself why are Mexicans leaving Mexico? Why aren't people leaving the U.S.? I know we are the best country in the world. People only leave their country in droves when it's not worth staying. Until Mexico straightens out their corrupt communist government Mexican will keep coming. Bush need to focus on the corrupt government there. Help the Mexican get a real democracy.

Talking is not going to secure our borders and country. Picking up a pen and signing an Executive Order will.

Something he will NEVER do, not when it concerns Mexico.
