The French Social Model in pictures
The French Social Model blog ^ | 01/04/2006 | FrenchSocialModel

I'm presently setting up something I had in mind for a long time, a blog exposing le Modèle-social-français-que-le-monde-entier-nous-envie (the-French-social-model-the-whole-world-is-jealous-of) in picture.

I've recently been offered a new cell phone w/ camera and I started shooting at homeless people: poor guys, most of them starving because of one and only one thing: socialism. In all countries there are tramps, but lots of them choose to live that way. French tramps are mostly victims of that criminal socialism, 25% of them (officially) do have a job, 75%are choked and alienated by Nanny State. I've been hesitating, wondering if I could do that. But all in all I'm only bringing pictures of the reality, as awful as it can be.

That's what I can see on a daily basis, on my trip to work. I'm not roving for some good shot, just taking the subway. I try to post new pictures every evenings (8-10pm CET, i.e. 9-11am West Coast time), and I added an XML atom.

Thank you for your comment. But seriously that's not supposed to "wake up the nation": who can wake up zombies?
This little blog is intended to show the actual state of France.

Interesting pictures.

Good thing they've had those car fires (courtesy of the Muslim "youth") to keep them warm on a cold winter's night, eh what? < /sarcasm>

google translation

I think of realizing a blog on the same subject, but about the United States..

Seriously!! I do not think that the American homeless is happier than the European homeless…

There are homeless everywhere, in all the countries and it is representative of nothing.
I reassure you, when I would come to the United States I would not photograph US homeless with my cellular but rather the Chrysler bulding, Madison square garden garden, the 5 th avenue, or the impressive statue of freedom. Why ? because i will be in holidays ! You can waste your time as you want guy !!!

Uhm, our homeless are not jihadists. Looks like our schools will have to dump French and start teaching our kids to speak Arabic.

Of course....
Je pense venir passer trois semaines à Montréal cet été.
Et j'ai vraiment envie d'en profiter pour venir passer 2 jours à New-York. J'espére que je vais pouvoir le faire.

Bravo pour ton Français. ;-)
