Liberal Christian Talk Show Host can’t handle Uncommon Sense

I was invited to go on the air with a Dean Schoenwald, a liberal Christian talk show host on WVOL 1470AM in Tennessee. When we spoke on the phone I was told that his listenership was middle of the road politically and they really didn’t have an agenda for the show; we would simply go wherever the discussion lead us.

Sound like a setup? Well it was. But I guess he didn’t know who he was dealing with as yours truly turned the tables on him. As a matter of fact, the intellectual beating got so bad he actually hung up on me.

Just listened right through.

You spoke well and with integrity.

From the UK I was shocked a the abuse to got and the venom. They had little in the way of reasoned argument - only slogans to fall back on. You stuck to Gospel living,.

thank you,

Just to let you know - the idiot's show got canceled last week.

Good riddance to bad garbage.

Nice job! Very nice!! It was evident one of them at least was losing his temper--had to shout as if somehow saying garbage louder would make it more true. I don't believe he has patience or humility or is a Christian in fact.

The guy was a complete fool. He couldn't get ANY advertisers, so he asked listeners to donate. I already miss him for the comedy value, though.

You should have your own show--you're smooth and can speak well with no hedges... I don't know of course--but you sound like a pro already in terms of working in the media--I wish you all the best and much success. God Speed, good warrior!

Agreed - great job!

I'll bet you had a better day than the newly unemployed idiot did.

Thank you all for your kind words. This interview was fun to do because they just know that they were going to be able to ambush me. Thank God, I had the truth on my side. BTW. If you are interested, I have started a weekly podcast discussing faith culture and politics, you can listen in from my site at www.craigdeluz.com. Anyway, thank you again for the support!
