Monday night’s program on “Anti-Semitism in the 21st Century: The Resurgence,” broadcast by PBS, was strikingly effective in depicting the history of the world’s longest-running prejudice, its sources, forms, and uses in different cultures at different times...

PBS has made some changes that get too little attention from the people. PBS has been receiving increased complaints for airing religious programming and documentaries on WWII, supposedly glorifying war.

PBS is not a new conservative bastion by any means, but there has been some movement toward presenting more balanced programming choices. More should be welcomed.

Tonight PBS will air "Return of the Taliban" ( http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/taliban/ ), which is critical of our hands-off approach to Taliban and Al Qaeda in Pakistan. The full documentary is also available online: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/taliban/view/

I wondered....

I stumbled onto one of their WWII documentaries and was quite surprised. It didn't 'glorify' the war so much as it showed what actually happened per history books I read way back when.

Likewise the NOVA segments about aviation were excellent as well...

Hope the trend continues; nice to see a few of those tax-funded grant dollars going in the right (literally) direction.

Our household enjoys "Antiques Road Show" and "NOVA" and the Saturday evening line-up of the British comedies.

However, we'll not contribute one extra DIME to them since we already support them with our tax dollars.

I can't bear to watch the news on that station, and the "We The People" debates were a joke.

And they use it to attack Israel nationalists and anyone who would stand up to Islamists.
