"It sounds like Pitt tried to get to "know" Kevin Spacey."

Just the way he wrote about him it sounded like Pitt tried to get to "know" Spacey in the Biblical sense. Pitt was so b....y about Spacey's entourage, accusing them of just what he, Pitt, was trying to do, swim in Spacey's space.

What's wrong with these people?

'The Usual Suspects' is in the pantheon of all-time amazing films.

Well, I'll be damned. I never thought I'd agree with any damn thing Will Pitt EVER would say.

I was sort of friends with Steve Allen back when I lived in La-La Land

Must have been cool. Allen was a class act.

We watched "Shattered Glass" on DVD the other night. It's a short film. It was about Stephen Glass, the young reporter at The New Republic magazine in the late nineties, who wrote fake stories --- I mean fake everything, incidents, names, he even made up company names and created fake websites.

The Libs on the magazine loved him, because he trashed the people and institutions that Libs love to attack.

It was a good movie, tight plotting, good acting and I am amazed it was produced.

No fatuous remarks that Pitt-types blow up to big important "statements" -- at the end the editor is trying to explain to a distraught, female, assistant editor who defends Glass, that writing fiction and passing it off as fact is "indefensible."

The assisttant editor stares at him, seeming to not comprehend. He leans towards her and says, shocked, "Don't you know that?"

I don't think that they do.

It's a good movie and faithful to the facts.

Kayser Soze was a character Spacey played in "The Usual Suspects." Soze was a criminal mastermind.

This low whisper of a Tuesday night found me and two regulars trying to keep the bored bartenders from lighting themselves on fire just so they'd have something to do besides stare at us over the taps.

First impression: dude, you gotta admit, that's funny.

Second impression: like Pitt's not a regular.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world He didn't exist. The other great trick He pulled was making it almost entirely impossible to untangle His influence. Thanks, Kevin. I'll see you at the bar.

Pitt capitalizes "he" and "his" when talking about the devil. Wonder if he does the same when talking about God?

"Happy as a pixie."

Why did I laugh at that? It just seemed uproariously funny.

The Herald is hilarious.

The Pitt is merely ponderous, I right tests for a living. Even I can only take so much of his overblown, self-important, ppompous writing style.

I always mix up Kevin Spacey with John Cusack

I guess that Kevin Spacey is the gay one

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I just remembered something. During the Andyscam when the Dummies were catching on that they'd been had, Pitt went on and on about how it would be another "Kayser Soze" and laughed at the Dummies. He's really an unpleasant specimen.

Ipswich Ale in the mug, and the chapter about Lincoln's early attempts to deal with Douglas open before me.

Am I the only one that caught this little detail. What in the world is WRP doing reading about a good Republican like Lincoln????

So had The Logorrheal One only worn a blond wig and sung "D'Ya Think I'm Sockpuppet?" he might've had a chance...
