Hes an idiot and clearly unbalanced. Let him run against Fred Thompson and he will look even stupider next to Freds terrific sense of humor and folksy charm. Al is only hugely popular among the moonbat wing of the rat party. That includes the MSM. Thats about 20% of the population.

One
blogger is now reporting that Gore's office denies the story.
What are we to believe, Al?

Hillary will be PISSED! She hates gore worse than conservatives. If gore runs obama is instantly delegated to VP.

Yes, Nixon, someone else pointed it out. It’s also a similar election situation; unpopular war, 2nd try after a close election.

RE: "Al Gore will not be able to make it to Taiwan this September to address the issue of global warming, Democratic Progressive Party Legislator Tien Chiu-chin (田秋堇) said yesterday." Yes, this schedule change may well have to do with the 2008 Elections... but did anyone ALSO consider the possibility that, actually, Big Al may simply be concerned over potential exposure to 'Bird Flu'...???

He literally runs from the room if you tell him that there is a climate scientist coming, thats what he did in his Senate hearing on global warming. Thats pretty exploitable in a campaign.I found it interesting the responses to my opinion on this were about 50-50, from I'm 'hallucinating' on one side to he would be the favorite to win the election on the other.
I know he has acted unhinged on a variety of topics since losing the last time, but he may have just been indulging himself as he obviously loves the sound of his own voice, and regardless of what we think about global warming or his histrionics defending his position, most of the public is taking his side right now.
He is an astute politician and very good campaigner as he proved last time out, and I think his demeanor will be very different if he does run again. Right now he is campaigning for superstar status and a Nobel prize. He would adjust his style if running for president. He will not be easily exploited or manipulated.
As to being a loser, the dems don't have anyone else. I always thought that if Gore did not run Edwards would get the nomination but he has made a lot of mistakes and this latest incident in the UK following on his view that the WOT is a 'bumper sticker' will hurt him. Hillary is both unlikeable (I have been saying for 18 months she is too unlikeable to be the nominee) and comes across as insincere so she would have a tough time winning and the dem back-room boys now know it. Obama - forgetaboutit.

Al Gore to Run He's too fat to run. Maybe he'll just waddle.
To: Northern Alliance
I agree with a lot of what you said. I think it wil be Gore-Kerry, and a fairly late announcement that they’re running.
Can he win? Maybe if MSM is successful in covering for him, but if he gets full exposure, probably not.

“It will be Gore-Obama.”
Seems more likely to me. Al’s revenge on the Clintons.....
