Hillary Wins Only If GOP Surrenders?
No Compromises ^ | 11/5/2007 | Jefferson Paine

Don’t let anyone fool you into believing that Hillary Clinton is the odds on favorite to win the Presidency in 2008. To the contrary, the next heir to the Oval Office is the GOP’s to lose. The following is my case.

Undoubtedly, Mrs. Clinton will win the Democrat nomination for POTUS – in effect, she’s already won. How can I be so confident? Because she’s got the one thing that no other Democrat running has – the brand name ‘Clinton’ – and it simply cannot be overcome on the Left. Their base sees this “two-fer” as more than enough to win - and Democrats are desperate to win the Presidency.

Witness the phenomenon of John Forbes Kerry, Vietnam War hero. Remember when he strutted victorious from the Iowa caucus in 2004, whipping out his uneasy, crooked salute? Without knowing hardly anything about him, like dominoes the Democrat rank and file robotically fell into line until he had the party’s nomination quickly wrapped up.

But, as we know, his Presidential bid was ill-fated as Democrat dreams fell prey again to his arch-nemesis, and utterly incompetent George W. Bush. Why did Democrats so blindly put up such a lame contender? Here’s the dirty little secret: It’s because Democrats are not very discerning about their candidate, because just about anyone can be anointed as their Thief-in-Chief. On the Left, where fascistic group-think makes it easy to control their base, all that is needed from the candidate is simply hardcore pandering, grand promises of free goodies, and a reason to jump en masse on the anointed Democrat’s magic carpet ride all the way to those verdant White House grounds. Kerry fit the bill early, and the ‘Anyone-but-Bush’ automatons got in behind him lightning-quick and never let go, despite his sophomoric rival’s ‘Don’t-mess-with-Texas’ campaign.

I just don’t see support for her except in the media. I don’t know of anyone that likes her. Every commment you read about her after an article on Drudge, people can’t stand her. Only the dumbest of the dumb would vote for her, but even they know a crook. It seems some of the media may be turning on her too.

If all the Republicans take your attitude, if all Republicans say “my candidate or I won’t vote” Hillary will win BIG.

Expect her to win big if Rudy McRomney (and possibly add a ...bee) win the Republican nomination. The R candidate will not draw Dims and each of these has a rather committed group that will not vote for them. I just went through a mayoral election here where the same strategy was used. Everyone hated the mayor, but no one wanted to vote for the other guy's candidate to oppose him in a no runoff, no primary election.

Your so right, the media may turn on her, but only in desperation. So far she’s their girl, if something may befall her (one can only hope)they will drop her like a hot potatoe (sorry Dan Quail) and jump on B. Hussein Obama’s or the Breck girls bandwagon.

Regardless, it will be an interesting election season.

She couldn’t handle round one of un-scripted questions; she won’t be able to handle anymore

Especially if a few of the questions asked of Hillary go something like this:

***

Senator Clinton, if you win the Presidency, are you going to again invite Johnny Chung, Charlie Trie, John Huang and James Raidy into your White House? Also Senator Clinton, will you now explain why you and Bill Clinton had all these Communist Chinese agents in the White House so often?

I agree. I personally hope Fred gets the Republican nomination (though I’m beginning to warm up to Duncan Hunter) but even if neither of them gets it, I’m still not going to give a commie-facist RAT like Hitlery any advantage by boycotting the election.

The Dims will try to divide and conquer us. They will try to split the conservatives and the GOP and get us to bicker amongst ourselves. We must not let that happen.

The dims won't have to, we are doing it to ourselves much to the joy of the "dims".

Isn’t that what the RATs are?

I’m sorry but that is just silly and inane. Any Pub is better than the Hildabeast or any other Dem. I pray you will at least support down ticket Pubs if Rudy is on the ticket. And please, Rudy does not elect Hillary. Stay at homes will.

I understand your trying to get someone other than Rudy nominated. I also know that the choice does not become real until there the final nominees are named. Then there is a choice. Regardless of the Republican nominee, I contend that Hillary must be stopped at all costs.

My biggest concern is corruption. She has shown herself to be corrupt in her public life. In this case there is a compelling reason to make an anti vote - even if you don’t like the candidate.

I would be interested in your answers to the following question: Do you think she is corrupt?
If you are not aware, look at the threads from Doug From Upland who is showing the tape in which Hillary commits felonies by violations of the campaign finance law. This pattern of illegal contributions is consistent. From shady pardons, lost billing records just having to appear in the White House, taking FBI files (Chuck Colson spent time in jail for taking only 1). This just scratches the surface.

It is my contention that such blatant demonstrated corruption must be defeated. If not, it spits on the grave of any soldier who sacrificed their life for a better country. How many gave their lives to defeat an enemy with the victor somewhat less than desired?

As a retired chaplain, I want to know why you would not do anything in your power to stop Hillary from being president.

Looks to me that some people want others to give up their voting principles while keeping their own.

Imagine 'Anyone-but-Clinton' automatons getting behind Giuliani (who's enjoyed some early status) and what that must feel like.(ps, it's still early enough for Clinton to crack- she and hubbie have been baking this scheme for so long, what eventually comes out of the oven may not be edible.)

Also, Obama sparked Hilly out of the gate a bit early and I don't think she's gotten comfortable in the saddle. She still holds the lead about half-way but I seriously expect her to round the last turn with her head about three feet from the ground, hanging on for dear life.

Prediction: 'Fiscal Responsibility' loses to 'Real Change' by a nose, with 'Two Americas' close behind.

I'd like to vote FOR someone not pre-ordained by the media.

Hillary loses only if we have a TRUE conservative and that is Duncan Hunter. He is truly the only one!!! I guarantee he would call on a marriage amendment AND an abortion abolishment amendment. Oh and he would punish the doctor AND the woman who had the abortion. Wow! What a concept-punish the people who murdered a baby!!! Has anyone on FREEPERS thought about that concept lately??? After reading the responses on some threads about abortion lately, I was thinking I was on DU. It was very disturbing!!!

Anyone who would vote third party or not vote at all knowing what is at stake for not only the U.S. but the entire world, are nothing but back-seat Democratic supporters, IMHO.

“Hillary wins only if there is a 3rd-party candidate on the right.”

I don’t think it needs a third party candidate on the right. All it needs is for the GOP to nominate another liberal candidate. As I see it, there are only two candidates in the GOP primary that I could vote for in ‘08. The others won’t get my vote regardless of who wins the Democrat primary.

In my opinion any of the Republican candidates( except for Ron Paul ) is better than Hillary. I have a couple of candidates I like better than the others but I’m willing to support any Republican (except Ron Paul) against Hillary, period. When I think about what this country would be like under Hillary’s rule - I know for sure that even the most liberal Republican will be better.”

So, is it it okay for you to say you won’t vote for Paul, but that I am selfish if I won’t vote for Rooty9/11?
