I would love to have the President’s number to tell him what a great leader he has been.

Speaking of socialists...
The Socialist Party candidate for President for the United
States, Norman Thomas, said this in a 1944 speech:
The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism.
But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every
fragment of the socialist program, until one day America
will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.
He went on to say: I no longer need to run as a Presidential
Candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democrat Party has
adopted our platform.”

I have called her just a couple of times in the last 20 minutes and her phone has been busy. I have Dollar Bill Jefferson as my Rep so calling him is no progress. If though there are enough of us, let us call every Rep or Sen (or email them) that we need a drilling solution to our energy issue - do not sue OPEC, do not sue the "Big Oil" folks, DRILL. Put up the nukes, convert coal.
Folks, we in La (yea, yea, piss-ant state that we are) so covered the news that we did not want the pols to give themselves a raise, that the Gov (I know reluctantly) vetoed the raise. We need to put the same pressure on our pols - we must be (as Ted Danson described Sharon Stone in the movie "Basic Instinct") RELENTLESS. The pols are, for the most part, whores - they have no principles save but the pursuit of power. We must close down their internet sites, their email, their faxes - make them nervous that they will loose power - that is their drug - make them think they will loose it.

Peter King's action on Cavuto was in response to Pelosi giving out the Presidents No. during a presser, where she requested everybody to call the President to tell him to bring gas prices down.
Peter King gave out Pelosi's No. so we could call her and tell her to get off her butt and bring an energy bill to the floor of the House. She has refused to bring any bill that might relate to energy to the floor because she is afraid it will lead to DRILL HERE DRILL NOW legislation!

E-mail or call and tell them to Drill Now! or we’re going to get somebody in there with some brains.

I like the idea of bombarding their fax machines, e-mails, phones, etc with all kinds of messages. What about lining the streets where our congress creeps go to and from the congress buildings every day!

The difference between Democrats and Republicans is: Democrats have accepted some ideas of Socialism cheerfully, while Republicans have accepted them reluctantly...

Relativism is our doom.
Moral absolutes can save us.
But does anyone care?
