After the polls close, I'll go back to being a libertarian/constitutionlist/conservative/classical liberal.

While I appreciate the sediment, let me just say that when we set aside values for the express purpose of winning an election, we are losing ground. We have lost a bunch in the past 8 years and McCain isn't going to fight the conservative/libertarian fight.
While losing an election not a good thing by any stretch of the imagination, at least you have enforced your values and will continue the attempt to advance the cause.
I'm beginning to think that every time you have to compromise more than you really want to, you lose a little off of the edge. Dole ... Bush ... Bush ... McCain. Our edges are getting rounded-off.
