Dear Supporter:

We have now raised over $8 million in our final emergency effort to stop Barack Obama.

I can tell you that the Obama campaign is absolutely enraged by our activities and our new ad reminding voters of the close relationship between Rev. Wright and Obama.

Two of the major TV networks have temporarily suspended our ad because of complaints by the Obama campaign. They have complained about the pictures used in the ad depicting Obama and Rev. Wright.

Our legal team is fighting back. We expect to be back on the air!

Other pro-Obama supporters are claiming Obama was not really that close to Rev. Wright and that we are exaggerating the relationship.

The facts: Obama has stated that he was converted to Christianity by the Rev. Wright in his late 20s. Previous to that, as a child Obama had been raised by his stepfather as a Muslim.

Obama has described the Rev. Wright as a mentor, friend and advisor.

Obama stated he could not reject Rev. Wright any more than he could reject the Black Church.

Again, his words, not ours.

All of Obama's attacks indicates this ad is having a powerful effect.

We are planning a final, major effort Monday night on television in key swing states and on Tuesday morning.

Anything you can contribute today will help our important cause.

Time is absolutely critical. Help us defeat Obama — Go Here Now.

Thank you.

Scott Wheeler Executive Director

P.S. Don't believe the polls. The AP recently asked poll respondents if they really were undecided and might still switch their vote. One in 7 — nearly 15% — said they still really hadn't decided. Obama can be defeated. You can help us make that happen by Going Here Now or call our donor hotline at 1-866-957-1467.

On FNC, Dick Morris has been repeatedly urging viewers to contribute to this PAC. I've donated three times and will probably call them again by the time the night is over. Their swing state ads are devastating(GOPtrust.com) and obviously, they are working to terrify BO and his minions and throw them into a state of confusion. This is our best hope to make sure that Odumbo is sent packing on Tuesday. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help. They have raised over eight million dollars in a week. I get more and more uncomfortable with FR as a fundraising tool. Grassroots organization and the like have always been a mission, but this outright fundraising arm of the GOP doesn’t seem right seems like a change in direction. Flame on.

Yeah, I had a problem with all the info they wanted. I’m going to send them a check.

PLEASE, PLEASE give us a break. Why should we not do EVERY THING we possibly can (including fund-raise) to stop a friend of terrorist Bill Ayers, racist pastor Jeremiah Wright and convicted felon Tony Rezko?

If the activists, like us on FR, won’t work to save America, who will? Should we all bake cookies and mow our lawns while the Republic lies in jeopardy? Your post MAKES NO SENSE at all.

I trust Dick Morris on campaign / election issues and have donated twice modestly based on my modest income. Based all all related audio of this sleazeball Wright guy and the fact that Obama attended his church for 20+ some odd years, and baptized his kids; there is NO WAY he had no idea what a hate-monger this guy was; and distance himself from that way of thinking. Obama hates white people. He intends to inflict REPARATIONS on us middle class whites through his redistributionist tax policies, not just here in the USA, but on a GLOBAL SCALE. And it won’t just end at destroying our jobs and businesses, but seizing our guns and homes. Our Constitution and Civil War made the best REPARATIONS we could, along with civil rights advances and affirmative action. We are doing the best we can but for Obama, Wright and others; it will never be enough. DEFEAT OBAMA.

If GOP Trust is showing Wright in swing states, IMHO, their effort could not be supported too much here on FR.

I think I kinda sorta almost understand your point in the broadest of senses. In the boots on the ground sense however, I can’t think of a group we should be supporting more with our wallets at this time.

The only caveat I would have against all out enthusiasm is the practical, or objective, analysis of it all related to how much ad space can be bought btwn now and Tuesday. I don’t know the answer to that, but if there are slots to be purchased, then we should buy them.

Just my two cents.

What was unclear? It seems that there used to be some sort of guideline around here about soliciting funds. Perhaps that ended, because I don't keep up with the inner workings here. This has always been a conservative meeting place for grassroots organization and fellowship ... not a republican website involved in republican fundraising.

After the polls close, I'll go back to being a libertarian/constitutionlist/conservative/classical liberal.

Until then, GOD ABOVE I BEG FORGIVENESS, I am a Republican.

The issue this election is to stop a Marxist/Communist cold blooded destroyer of this nation!

Thank GOD for this information. Going to donate now.

Many voters do not know the hatred that permeates Zero - he is such a smooth Liar.

Listening to his preacher for a few minutes who thinks L. Farrakhan is an ideal man - should help open a few eyes. The more the better. America as we have known it is at stake.

While I appreciate the sediment, let me just say that when we set aside values for the express purpose of winning an election, we are losing ground. We have lost a bunch in the past 8 years and McCain isn't going to fight the conservative/libertarian fight.

While losing an election not a good thing by any stretch of the imagination, at least you have enforced your values and will continue the attempt to advance the cause.

I'm beginning to think that every time you have to compromise more than you really want to, you lose a little off of the edge. Dole ... Bush ... Bush ... McCain. Our edges are getting rounded-off.

What was unclear?

your comment was unclear... you use words like "seem" and "perhaps," and say that you are "uncomfortable." but didn't convey why you were uncomfortable... so i wanted to know what was making you uncomfortable... why so defensive at my wanting clarification?

I have said exactly what you said so many times that it’s not funny. Search the way back archives here to verify if you want.

This is the first year I have whored myself out so badly. I hate it. I feel dirty. Honestly, I am NOT MAKING THAT UP for this thread’s sake.

BUT, and it is a huge enuf but for me to whore myself out, I will not be emotionally stable if barack hussein obama wins. Will I go postal? No. Will I have trouble managing my hatred on an hour by hour basis? Yes. O god damn it to hell am I ever gonna have a hard time dealing with my hate, rage, anger and disgust.

So, in a purely selfish way, I have whored my vote out to a war hero whose politics I deplore because I am not man enuf to live healthily with the alternative.

Okay, that’s just a quick rant to try and explain myself. Of course there are many layers to it. Of course I’d find a way to live w/ hussein as president. Of course Palin has changed things. etc etc etc

Could we both be right? Probably not. Your thinking is more honest than mine. But at least I’m honest about my whoring ways and why I’m doin it.

While I appreciate the sediment,...

The "sediment"? The "sediment"???? I think you meant "sentiment". Your screen name really is no joke; is it?
