A heavy on the Christianity - but this Obama sure does have a unique view of God, Jesus, sin, and salvation.

The full origninal interview: http://falsani.blogspot.com/2008/04/barack-obama-2004-god-factor-interview.html

Tons of stunners in there. I printed off and shared with my Bible study group prior to the election.

Dear Mr. Deity-Elect,

Only the REAL messiah was without sin.

You sir, are the phony media-created, self appointed messiah.

Got that?

Agreed.
also, remember as it says in the book of “James”:

“Even the demons believe there is ONE God and they tremble in fear....”

That is one of my favorite verses. Reason being is demons know there is a God, they fear god and demons also know scripture and God’s word. However, what they do NOT do is OBEY God!! Key words....They DO NOT OBEY God!!!

So go ahead obama and talk the talk....but in the end there is someone infinitely higher than you and me and you will stand in judgment in front of God just like everyone else!!

Right. If there’s a hell, and I don’t know for sure, he’s totally going for the infanticide thing.

Unbelievable. So I guess by Ohbombah’s standard, people like Judas, Stalin, Hitler, et al. weren’t committing sinful acts. They were acting on and living their “values”, they were not “out of alignment” with them. Anything goes, then. No wonder he’s in favor of unrestricted abortion and denying basic life support to newborns who survive abortion. It’s just a question of “alignment” with “values”.

Cool, couldn’t tell if that was the full interview with the commentary interspersed.

The “Jesus is a historical figure for me” and “I believe there are many paths to the same place” pretty much disqualify one from being a person.

Or knowledgeable about the scripture. Tells me even more about Wright’s church if Obama was able to attend for a couple decades and not have an understanding of who Jesus is.

mikelets456 - it is the every time that demons recognize Christ that stops me cold in my tracks. reassuring - yes - but there is no alternative interpretation. Obama is truly misguided.

In true leftist fashion, Obama’s grasp of Christ’s commandments is limited to having absorbed His condemnation of the hypocrisy of the scribes and Pharisees.

“Render unto Caesar the things that are Ceasar’s and unto God the things that are God’s,” “Be ye perfect as you Father in Heaven is perfect,” and even “Go and sin no more,” as applied to a woman who committed adultery, somehow never managed to sink in; to say nothing of His condemnation through His prophets of those who call evil good, or say ‘peace, peace’ when there is no peace.

“I believe there are many paths to the same place”

It was funny watching athiests defend this guy when people called him a muslim. They’d yell, “No! He’s a Christian!” And I must assume he called himself a Christian to get more votes and, sadly, it worked.

I was just standing next to Wright about an hour ago outside his hotel while waiting for the valet to bring my car around. I was tempted to start grilling him over his racist church, but didn’t want to start something I couldn’t finish.

This is the type of stuff I was hoping Rick Warren would spend a question or two on during the Saddleback show.

It would have been interesting to see politicians try to answer a couple of questions about the nature of God.
