Hell yeah we should be finding out the truth about 0bama’s citizenship. If it turns out he is not legit, assuming he still serves, it is the Democrat Party that loses credibility. It also makes it all the less likely 0bama will be a two termer.

The legal issue is moot. If this were flipped, the media would have dragged this out and left it there and created a huge Constitutional crisis.
It happens to be a legitimate issue, who the hell are you telling us to put a lid on it?
To: Charlie Fairbanks
If there’s legitimate questions they need to be resolved now. If they aren’t resolved then the Democrats will use the precendent to undermine citizenship requirements in any future elections.

I am not your fellow Conservative.
I do not and will not support obama. And furthermore, not that it matters,as far as I am concerned, eveyone that does support him is a traitor to what once was The Representative Republic that the Founders gave us.

Well then why not just burn the Constitution...the Bill of Rights?!?!?!
Hell...Charlie...let's just let anyone into this country that wants to come...and let them run for any office they want to!
To: Charlie Fairbanks
You know this much.

"(The Trans-Canada Natural Gas Pipeline, for instance) Indeed, Governor Palin will meet with BHO tomorrow to discuss the project." *sigh*
It's not the "Trans-Canada Natural Gas Pipeline." TransCanada is building the pipeline. And that pipeline is called the Alaska Highway Pipeline.

So...in comes another lib - probably an ACORN member - trying to sweet-talk us out of asking his savior for a copy of the ol' Birth Certificate.
It's not a major request.
We're not asking for Obama's first-born male child.
The 42 other Presidents our country has had proved their citizenship...why not obama?
Is it because he's black?
The only thing this issue has in common with the 2000 elections is, democrats are trying to pull something dirty in both instances. The democrats are breaking the damn law, and then people like this hornydog for Palin comes out and tries some of the left-wing objective reasoning on us.
No...Mr. Hornydog...we are not going to drop it. It's a simple request...even a Rhodes Scholar could understand it...SHOW US THE DAMN BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
You want this to go away? Then, that's all you have to do.
Sorry Charlie...

More recently, it seems that the me generation tag should be applied to those conservatives that cannot live with the election results.More recently than that....it appears many FReeper's are willing to abandon the Constitution.
I'll add you to that list.
To: Charlie Fairbanks
Yeah, Charlie, who could disagree with you except those carmudgeons babbling incoherently about the Constitution, which as our new leader himself has noted is a “flawed” document.

Even if he, himself *is* legally qualified, the ACORN/Black Panther “poll watchers”/foreign contributions should utterly disqualify this election as anything remotely near “legitimate”.

BERG IS A DEMOCRAT!!!
HE STARTED THIS!
This nation needs to resolve this now.
Selective application of the law leads to anarchy.
EVERY SINGLE EXECUTIVE decision and lawful order will be
subject to legal challenge until Obi-One proves he was duly elected. Crime should NOT pay.
It is not a conservative movement... it’s a constitutional one.

Sorry, but if Fauxbama is not constitutionally able to be president, then he cannot be president, its that simple. Now I am not saying he is one way or another, however one does have to wonder why he won’t produce a simple document that would end this?
To: avacado
We take great pride in our constitution. If we’re not prepared to defend it, it’s a useless document. I believe most Americans love this country and wiil fight for the principles laid out in this document.

"Conservatives should be better than that" Conservatives should be better in the sense of being worse better than the Libs.
