This is a very disturbing article about the University Bank in Ann Arbor Michigan. The bank has recently implemented sharia banking, but to make matters worse they have even canceled their annual Christmas party and have stated that no alcohol will be served at after work gatherings.

It did not go anywhere, but at least he tried. Like he tries to warn the country on the borders. There is no reason for sharia law to be legal here, it will just lead to more problems in the future.

The company I work for had no Christmas party for 2 years by and large due to lack of interest.

I wonder if it was also coincident with other changes in company policy, like say allowing people to go to a special room at certain times for mid-day prayers; or making sure that no one brought a BLT sandwich along with them for lunch.

One of the companies I worked for forbade the receptionist from wearing black leather pants. Do I have a discrimination case?

More than you realize. WAY more than you realize.

I like to think myself fairly savvy in the ways of the world although I still harbor some naivete regarding the goodness of people. So if what you say is true, then the sh!t is going to break the fan.

Thanks for posting. Very interesting. I read Robert Spencer’s “Stealth Jihad” while I was on vacation last week. Very educational. The jihad advances.

Check with a lawyer. I'm sure he can file something on your behalf.

"The company I work for had no Christmas party for 2 years..."

Why would any company sponsor a Christmas party? Is that not endorsement of a particular religion?

I hope this was a /sarc. A private company is free to do this as they wish, plus, Christmas is both a secular and religious holiday.

nope and nope. It was coincident with realizing that they spent a lot on those parties and only about 1/3 of the employees went. There are no mid-day (or any other time of day) prayer rooms and people can eat whatever they want.

I suppose technically it was a holiday party, but even the hippy pagan douchebags in the company called them Christmas parties.

"... and religious holiday."

I'll take that as a "yes" answer to my question.

(This is not directed at you) Then why should anyone have a problem with some bank doing Sharia stuff?

Come to think of it . . . that same company forced me to wear a suit and tie, and then had the audacity to exempt me from Casual Fridays. Know any good lib lawyers to recommend?
