Obama and Respect
February 23, 2009 | techno

Today on Bill Bennett's Morning in American program a caller voiced his concern that the current adversarial political climate was contributing to a consistent' lack of respect for the office of the Presidency' and that feeling even applied to 'teachers'.

If anybody could have chosen the worst two entities as examples of who we should have respect for in this day and age it is Obama and the teachers' union.

Here are 5 reasons why:

1)The passage of restrictive laws that run counter to and defy the spirit of the Constitution.

The inclusion of a provision in the stimulus bill that forces a state legislature to take a vote on the stimulus bill to overturn the judgment of any governor that balks at going along with it is a gross example: in addition the stimulus bill dictates that if a state accepts money from the stimulus package for a newly-created program, that program will become PERMANENT, diminishing the autonomy of each state to control its own destiny and budget: against the 10th Amendment.

How can an American have respect for the office of the Presidency when the current officeholder has no respect for the Constitution that he has sworn to defend but instead is obsessed with dismantling it and ultimately destroying it and sending it to the scrap heap of history?

2)The American public education system taking their cue from Bill Ayres and the Annenberg Project to further the concept of 'white guilt' and multiculturalism, painting a dark picture of American history and its traditional perceived heroes of the past 220 years, seeking to discredit American exceptionalism and the reasons for American prosperity by claiming it was achieved from the exploitation of the poor, disadvantaged and people with darker skins, that Islamic terrorism is a product of American imperialistic practices and warmongering and thus conveying a conclusion that America is evil or an abomination and that 'America must be saved'-thus setting the scene for a Messiah to deliver America from the sins of the past.

3)A President that now wants to cut the budget deficit but a week earlier that promoted a stimulus package that would increase the American debt by another trillion dollars.

And I'm expected to respect a President that is deliberately lying through his teeth and has misrepresented his ties to Alinskian-Marxist beliefs and ideology from day one and wants to bring the American economic system to its knees which is part and parcel of the radical socialist playbook to make the revolution permanent.

4)And how does one have respect for a President who wants to turn America into a totalitarian one-party state that seeks to regulate every aspect of American life and 'eliminate' conservative dissent?

That's like a German in an op-ed piece in the 1930's calling for all Germans to respect the leader of Germany because he currently held the office and DESERVED the respect of every German while he is stripping people of their rights, setting up concentration camps and purging political enemies.

5)The American public education system daily inculcating an elitist, academic, bleeding-heart, radical socialist approach to education and at the same time condemning capitalism, American business practices, entrepreneurs, the Christian religion, conservatives, and white 'trailer trash' as evil and worthy of disdain.

Do we still wonder why and how American teachers have foisted on to American society millions of young undemocratic radical, amoral socialists or Narcissists? That has been their mission statement for the past 30 years and the election of Obama represents the fulfillment of their mission.

Bill Ayres and Bernadine Dohrn and people of their ilk have taken their revenge.

The question now in front of us is, "Will traditional America have the courage to fight back and take back their country from these interlopers or will we concede the victory to the forces of radical socialism and amoral, ruthless Narcissism and forever live as slaves to the government or to political correctness?"

Unions like the teachers’ union should legally be disbanded since it is connected to the government as a monopoly.
They use their union dues to elect politicians that grow their unions, pay and retirement funds.
This would bankrupt a company the way GM has been had this been a private sector union.

If there is no competition, there should be no union.
This goes for all state and federal connected employment.
It becomes more like a boondoggle and racketeering than fair bargaining.

a consistent' lack of respect for the office of the Presidency'

I don't normally respond to vanities such as this, but I'm tired of the leftist and liberal claims of a lack of respect for the presidency.

This, after 8 years of some of the most vitriolic and profane ridicule and disrespect of the office that I have ever seen.

So, I'll assume the same defense that the libs and leftist morons do..., I'll simply say that I respect the hell out of the office, but the damned muslim-sympathizing, race-baiting, racist, inexperienced, foreign-born, low-life, so-called community organizing communistic, marxist-leaning, do-nothing fool that was elected will never have my respect.

But unlike the horses asses on the left, I will ensure that everyone knows that I speak of the so-called PRESIDENT and not the Office of the President of the United States, which is now occupied by a usurper.

Hussein is not my president, nor will he ever be.

Not sure how many people know it, but like the politicians who want to be SURE of their retirement, the teachers have managed to get themselves opted out of the “Social inSecurity” system and have their own special deal. The rest of us are left to pay into a system that has been used by congress to “buy votes” by offering benefits to hundreds of thousands if not millions of people who are simply parasites and contributed nothing.

Talk about “lack of respect”...I seethe every time I hear the media propagandists spouting “PRESIDENT Obama” (which is every time they mention his name, hundreds of times a day), when for the last 8 years they couldn’t be bothered calling our President by that title...it was most always just “Bush”, or “The Bush Administration” or “Cheney”, etc. I am disgusted at the blatant public manipulating and stunned that more people don’t recognize it, since they don’t even bother to try to hide it any more.

It looks like it’s time to unveil the fact that Obama is a usurper through exposing his credentials to hold the office of President of the U.S.. and then nullify all agreements, treaties, executive orders, laws, etc.
