Our military presence in the Iraq secures the Petrodollar.
When the American military leaves the ME, the Petrodollar will be replaced with the PetroEuro - and the Dollar and the American econmy goes poof.
Enough said.

This is incorrect. In December 2008, Team Bush negotiated a status of forces agreement with Iraq that stipulated all U.S. troops would be out of the country by the end of 2011. It appears that Obama has decided not to deviate from that plan.

I think he is afraid to bring them home. No chance of the army rebelling if all their combat strength is on the other side of the world. He will bring the units home once at a time and demobilize them as part of his fiscal responsibility. New “Politically Reliable” units will be raised from his followers for use in the continental US.

All troops to withdraw by 2010...
But 50,000 will be left behind.
And in other news, the chocolate ration will be “increased” to 25 grams from 40 grams per week.
Got Doublespeak?
