Obama To Keep Combat Troops In Iraq More Than A Year Longer Than Bush Was!
Needs of the Many ^

Today the AP is reporting that Obama will remove US combat troops from Iraq by August 2010, and that all US troops will be pulled out by December 2011. On the surface this looks good for Obama supporters, but Obama can’t take credit for getting US troops out of Iraq. That was ALL Bush.

In fact, Obama has just admitted that he is extending US combat troops' deployment in Iraq by 14 months longer than under the Bush plan.

Why does the Image of Nelson pointing and laughing (”Ha-ha.”) come to mind?

Our military presence in the Iraq secures the Petrodollar.

When the American military leaves the ME, the Petrodollar will be replaced with the PetroEuro - and the Dollar and the American econmy goes poof.

Enough said.

This is incorrect. In December 2008, Team Bush negotiated a status of forces agreement with Iraq that stipulated all U.S. troops would be out of the country by the end of 2011. It appears that Obama has decided not to deviate from that plan.

I think he is afraid to bring them home. No chance of the army rebelling if all their combat strength is on the other side of the world. He will bring the units home once at a time and demobilize them as part of his fiscal responsibility. New “Politically Reliable” units will be raised from his followers for use in the continental US.

You can thank Ben Bernanke and the Fed for the destruction of the “petrodollar,” and nothing else

If Saddam, Venezuela, Russia, Iran, and others had their way, it would have happened a whole lot sooner.

Imagine the housing bubble imploding upon the externally directed implosion of the dollar.

Things would likely have been much worse, much sooner.

As it is, it's bad enough: Consider what would have happened if Adolph Hitler had been in power with a ramped-up military industrial complex - in 1928/29. Seems to me that's about where we are.

All troops to withdraw by 2010...
But 50,000 will be left behind.

And in other news, the chocolate ration will be “increased” to 25 grams from 40 grams per week.

Got Doublespeak?
