In the President’s weekly radio address, he said this, “In fact, there has not been a nominee in several generations who has brought the depth of judicial experience to this job that she offers.”

He also said this, “There are, of course, some in Washington who are attempting to draw old battle lines and playing the usual political games, pulling a few comments out of context to paint a distorted picture of Judge Sotomayor’s record. But I am confident that these efforts will fail; because Judge Sotomayor’s seventeen-year record on the bench – hundreds of judicial decisions that every American can read for him or herself – speak far louder than any attack; her record makes clear that she is fair, unbiased, and dedicated to the rule of law. As a fellow judge on her court, appointed by Ronald Reagan, said recently, ‘I don’t think I’d go as far as to classify her in one camp or another. I think she just deserves the classification of outstanding judge.’”

As long as you are black or Latino, she is more than fair!

“The One” brings up the name of Ronald Reagan any time it suits him, even though he desires the OPPOSITE of everything Reagan lived for.

Yes, he brings up Reagan’s name to silence opposition and to create the illusion that the right is just yelling to be contrary, not because there is any substance to any of the charges.

Ya know...watching and listening to the posturing and pontificating on this nominee, we can clearly see the difference in tactics used by the DhimmiRats and the Pubbies.

The Pubbies have been couching their opposition in softer terms...”troublesome positions on some issues”, “it will be difficult to accept this nominee”, etc. etc.

The DhimmiRats, OTOH, just put it out there in plainer terms, “playing old style politics”, “obstructing”, “attacking”, etc. etc.

If the Pubbies are EVER going to regain an ounce of credibility, they simply MUST start to play by the same rules. The DhimmiRats have the majority in the Congress. They have the WH. And, now they are attempting to load the judiciary. This appointment is one that the Pubbies need to fight vigorously, gloves off, mud in yer eye, play for keeps. Stop playing softball!

The DhimmiRats must be made to OWN their work, if the conservative agenda is to ever have a chance, again, IMO. There is no shame in dissent; it worked for the DhimmiRats...

It’s time to take back the country.

And yet Drudge is reporting this morning an article from the past where Obama supported the filibuster of Sotomayor to the circuit court. But, now she is fine?
