Statement on the desecration of photo of Governor Palin and baby Trig
Sarah Palin's Facebook ^ | 6/25/09 | Meghan Stapleton

Posted on 06/25/2009 6:39:16 AM PDT by rintense

The following refers to a post Conservatives 4 Palin made Wednesday and to which others are responding:

"Recently we learned of a malicious desecration of a photo of the Governor and baby Trig that has become an iconic representation of a mother's love for a special needs child.

The mere idea of someone doctoring the photo of a special needs baby is appalling. To learn that two Alaskans did it is absolutely sickening. Linda Kellen Biegel, the official Democrat Party blogger for Alaska, should be ashamed of herself and the Democratic National Committee should be ashamed for promoting this website and encouraging this atrocious behavior.

Babies and children are off limits. It is past time to restore decency in politics and real tolerance for all Americans. The Obama Administration sets the moral compass for its party. We ask that special needs children be loved, respected and accepted and that this type of degeneracy be condemned."

You manipulated that photo, right? If not, how much does she charge to haunt a house? (Her answer would, of course, be: How many rooms?)

Seriously, her looks pretty much explains her actions. I can easily see why she hates Sarah so much that she'd attack a sweet, innocent Downs Syndrome child.

I think a lot of Dems will be sick over this.

It seems to me that the woman in question is a stalker. She may not stalk physically, but she’s obsessed with Palin and envious to the point of doing anything to defame, insult, abuse, offend. If I were Palin, which I’m not, I’d take legal action to protect myself and my family.

I believe it was “Stand on Zanzibar”, the character was IIRC “Harry Shelton” the brilliant anthropologist who chose to live on the streets to get the ‘street level view’ of society.

John Brunner was an excellent Sci Fi writer, but the distopian vision he put forth was more dependent upon cultural forces than any advancement in technology.

High level executives living as roommates. People having possession of “their” apartment only for an eight hour shift. Women who would go home with you just to put a roof over their heads. Tobacco illegal and Pot legal because the Gov wants people stoned out not amped up. Birth restrictions of particular genotypes. Societal condemnation of anyone with more than two children. And, the point of this diversion, an “emotional index” to language being used.

What really got me was the concept of “Mr and Mrs Everywhere”. You got your image fed into your TV and then “Mr and Mrs Everywhere” looked like you and the misses. All it took was one “And I think candidate Johns has a sensible policy on Issolla” from the lips of Mr. Everywhere and people thought that HIS opinion was their own (after all didn't they just see themselves say it?).

Easy to see why she’s jealous of Sarah.

LOTS, no, TONS of soft lighting, cake and HOURS AND HOURS of Photoshop to turn this

I guess you don’t need to alter this beyotch’s photo, it is sad that so many ugly people are ugly all the way through, not just on the outside.

Jealous of Palin? I’d bet on it - and I don’t just mean Palin’s “looks”. Wonder if she has a husband like Todd? Or such wonderful and loving children?

Desecration must be pretty high on the “emotional index” within the lexicon. Defacement is a much more accurate word.

In this instance 'desecration' is the more appropriate word, not 'defacement'. That's because it wasn't a mere photo, but an iconic photo.

Similar to this one.

I think the word “desecration” is too strong here. A “desecration” is an act of disrespect towards a sacred object. While some may consider the TOPIC of the photo, or depictions of motherhood,”sacred,” the photo itself is not in itself an object held sacred to a religious group.

“Contemptible parody” might be more accurate.

Biegel thrives on hate and divisiveness. In other words she is a typical demrat political elitist. The only people I hear talking killing (remember Alec Baldwin’s comments about Cheney and his family) and hoping that some people “go missing” (Kerry about Palin yesterday) are demrats. They are truly despicable people. Yet they see themselves as caring more for my children than I do. Go figure.

"What is it about Alaskan Democrats? They are the least civil people in America."

I am originally from New York. You don't know uncivil until you have walked in my shoes. I live in New Jersey which is not far behind(no pun intended).

“Contemptible parody” might be more accurate.

How about 'defilement'.

defile:

1. to make foul, dirty, or unclean; pollute; taint; debase. 2. to violate the chastity of. 3. to make impure for ceremonial use; desecrate. 4. to sully, as a person's reputation

But to defile is also to desecrate is it not?

I was thinking that an appropriate response would be to photoshop a beagle’s head on Biegel, but that would probably improve the picture.

Nevermind.

She’s as ugly as her political tactics.

If one takes into consideration this “contemptable parody”, The Lyin’ King’s mean-spirited remarks at the expense of the Special Olympics, and the General Policy of the Democrats regarding Abortion, one could almost draw the conclusion that the left does NOT care for people with “special needs” all that much! SAY IT AIN’T SO!!!!!

Biegel is an ugly, fat slob.

Truer words were never spoken! And, added to yours; Biegal has worse physical and mental challenges than Trig. Trig will be ok. There is no cure for what ails this dispicable woman, unless it would be conservatism.
