Oh, let’s see . . . where should I begin? Raise taxes? Increase regulation?

Jindal would not qualify under the current constitution.

Wrong, He was born in America.

Ron Paul isn’t running in 2012 and Gary Johnson is too libertarian, he supports drug legalization and cutting national defense.

My understanding is at least one parent must be a US natural citizen. They both were of Indian nationalities.

If that is the case, jindals kids would qualify but not Jindal.

I am not a Constitutional Scholar, but I have stayed at a f Holiday Inn Express on a few occasions.

Hence the uproar over Obama and his qualifications, or lack of.

I posted it somewhere else a while ago and pasted it here. I got tired to seeing Romney’s and Huckabee’s name everywhere so I just wanted to double check that we actually have the chance of nominating some decent candidates next go round.

And prayer in schools . . . don’t get me wrong, those issues are important (except maybe squirrels), but if Huckabee thinks they are he should run for Senate.

My take on these polls is that the American people don't want some who shows "promise," but once arriving in Washington is swayed by the establishment as to what they can and can't do because of dire consequences to the delicate balance of power within Washington and the world at large.

I think they want someone who can withstand the pressures of the established classes, and who isn't conditioned to believe the dire consequences that the establishment foists upon them when they arrive.

I think that Sarah Palin has shown that fortitude to stand up to the established wisdom, and is willing to make her own choices, and has confidence in her ability to react to the consequences that will arise from her decisions.

The fuss over Obama is that he wasn’t born stateside and that his mother, born American, may have denounced her citizenship and any rights afforded to her children

>Glad to see that Rep. Paul is doing better this time.

Indeed. I’m of the opinion that a Ron Paul / Sarah Palin ticket would be pretty good. Paul’s got some really good domestic policy, as does Palin; his failing is on foreign policy which I believe Palin would temper.

However his ideas/suggestion of employing letters of marque and such in the War on Terror was, IMO, pretty good... they could do well on Somali pirates too.

She has been accused of practically everything the Democrats could think of and come out smelling like a Rose.

It will be interesting to see what inuendo’s, rumors, and lies they can come up with if she runs again.

It could be fun watching them digging out all the same crap and replaying it.

>So Palin as President, Rommey as VP and RP as SOT.

I’m not that big a fan of Romney, though Paul as Sec. of the Treasury could be good.

What I have read was that his father was a British Citizen and 0 gave up his US citizenship to live and attend an Islamic school.
