David Shuster Ignores Own 'Pimped Out' Remark, Tells FreeRepublic.com to Stop Vile Language

MSNBC's David Shuster, who was suspended in 2008 for proclaiming that Chelsea Clinton was being "pimped out" by her then-candidate mother, on Monday challenged a representative of Free Republic as to what he would do to try and "discourage people" from using "hateful, vile language" on the website.

Guest Kristinn Taylor, a spokesman for the Washington D.C. chapter of Free Republic, appeared on the show to battle with the MSNBC Live host over offensive comments that were posted on the site about 11-year old Malia Obama. Taylor combatively contradicted an assertion by Shuster that some racist remarks featured under a picture of the Obama daughter were reposted on the web page after initially being removed: "Well, David, unfortunately, it seems you've gotten your story from the Daily Kos, which is not a reliable source of information."

I used to wonder why freepers here are so tough on the crowd at the KOS and DU. I’ve missed all the troll threads before they were deleted and didn’t realize what the troll threads were like.

I used to think that the KOS/DU people are probably as intelligent as normal people, but sadly misled. Seeing stuff like this makes me cringe with embarrassment for usa.shame and KOS/DU. Usa.shame, you certainly didn’t score any points for KOS/DU. I’m sorry but this was idiotic.

Then you should talk to Daily KOS poster HollywoodOZ, who is also the reporter Chris Parry who has been pushing this story and whose vile comments on KOS are far worse than anything you would have seen here, and who encouraged people to make comments like this and ‘blame Republicans’.. It seems this reporter is responsible for creating this false story. Racists who troll over here are treated just like people are treating you. They are not tolerated in the least. At KOS, people like Chris Parry are held up as a hero.

"Slunk-faced" has long been a personal favorite... you're a man after my own heart. Thank you.

I tried to hang out at the Kos, you know, to 'check out the enemy's position.' Not kidding, I lasted for about 30 seconds of reading a couple posts/threads, and I had to leave. I honestly couldn't take the hateful ignorance. I felt ill, like I was watching something I shouldn't be watching.

It has hleped me understand how Zero got elected. While I still believe it's possible that all men are created equal, as G.S. Markle once told me; "Created equal? Sure. Twenty-one years later, though, there are some really signal differences."

The man was a visionary.
