Government is not reason, compassion or cooperation. It is force and a consuming fire. Government is about destruction. It destroys lives, freedom, opportunity. It destroys the natural social ecology.
How can anybody be surprised that the federal government has come up with a plan to destroy perfectly good cars?

It’s just wrong to intentionally destroy a functional machine that still has some useful life ahead of it.
I like how the name Obama is now being used to mean something has been irreparably FUBARed.
As in, “Dude, my job just got Obama’d.”

Just like Grandma and Grandpa! Obama gives you a $4,500 tax credit that you will never see. But old Grandma and Grandpa get the blue or the green pill with their evening milk. Kathleen Sebelius who is the Dr. Mengele of the Obama regime says its for the best to follow his lead.
Absolutely sick to my stomach. Freepers should go to dealer’s nationwide and take photo’s of the clunkers which in most cases are absolutely functioning cars and trucks. Let all American’s see the the disgrace this program is...it is like taking $4,500 of our hard earned money and just throwing it away
Why aren’t we at least donating these cars to people or organizations who can use them?
Seems similar to watching a baby born of a botched abortion fighting for its life against the odds.
Some entrepeneur should set up televised pay per view “clunker death matches” with an internet betting pool.
I think our 88 towncar with 135K miles has the same motor as the longer lasting Ford???
This makes me sick to my stomach. This tells you all you need to know about our gov’t and it’s policies. These people do NOT represent me in anyway.
Anyone who’s been in the car industry and has built a car, or sold one must be wrenching with disgust over this.
The parts alone are needed. Why do this? Is there any sanity in this country?
