I have donated to the RNC for years and never been bothered with repeat phone calls. But if I did, I would just block the number from which they came. If the calls come in under 10-digit numbers such as 0000000000 or 1000000000 you can call the telephone company and tell them not to allow those calls through to your number. Most telemarketers use those ghost numbers, and also collect calls from jails come in using unidifier ghosts. Just have them blocked.

Frankly, I too believe this is just made up BS and an excuse to disparage republicans and Sarah Palin in particular.

Maybe Megan McCain is volunteering at the RNC?
“Moderates” like Megan, her daddy, twinkletoes and the witches from Maine are doing all they can to keep the GOP a minority in a pup tent. They don’t want the majority of economic and/or social conservative Americans to have a party or a voice.

Give to the conservative candidate; not to the Rino party machinery. They refuse to help conservatives in elections anyway.

Caller ID’s can be faked...so don’t assume that is where the phone call is actually coming from. I would get an independently verified number for the RNC and then verify with them that they are actually calling you... if they are... ask to be taken out of their list.

Want to have fun with it? Just start reading the Bible..say Psalm 23 as an example. I doubt you will get much if any more prank calls from the evil critters whoever they be.

I suspect you’re a troll.

In case you’re not, call the phone company and report it. Harassment is a crime.

Hey Leo...here’s Psalm 23. Read it and let us know how it goes for you. Perfect for those Sunday morning intrusions,,,give em a lil church, eheheheh!

Psalm 23
A psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,

3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.

4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death, [a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

The answering machine announces an “unknown caller” so I don’t pick up. The one time I did, it was some kid from the RNC and he sounded really desperate. I hung up on him. I also sent back my pledge request, stuffed with other useless papers and a note to them saying I would donate to the conservative candidates, rather than have them throw my money at Mitt or some other useless RINO.

First of al, you don’t knwo if ANY of those posts are for real.

Second of all, and most importantly, what kind of Republican, who “voted Republican since Reagan” is going to decide that they will NOT vote Republican, not even for Palin, just because they get some phone calls?

Explain THAT!

I definitely won't let them run me off from voting for a repub but I've been getting these calls on a frequent basis. Last one was yesterday at 12:29P per caller ID. It's definitely irritating though because I have to listen to 5 rings before it goes to VM. I don't want to change the number of times I have the ringer set because I need that amount of time some days just to find the silly phone.

Maybe they are like a lot of the rest of us sick of the faggot way the GOP is being run especially throwing idiot-ass McCain at us.

Why would these people fake these posts.

Explain THAT, n00bie!

Is there any way I can stop the calls?

Why can't you screen your calls? Now that telemarketers have become the plague of America, you have to make some adjustments. Let your phone's built-in answering machine answer the call. Call comes in, you hear the ring, you let the answering machine do its shpiel, you hear the person on the other end. If it's someone you want to speak to, you pick up. If it's not, you don't. And at night, you turn off the ringer AND the answering system. This has been my routine since the telemarketers plague began. You press two buttons ON in the morning, you press two buttons OFF in the evening.

Or, you change your number if it gets too excessive. Occasionally that’s necessary.

“You sound much like a troll trying to stir up animosity for the RNC”
“I agree. This does NOT pass the smell test, as they say.”

Dittos. You tell them “No thank you and take me off your call list” and they stop. End of story.

Whether the story is wrong or its a crank caller faking caller ID, this I know: The RNC is not making such calls.

True Dat. Just because some idiot caller from a call center trying to raise money acts wrong and that is going to shake someone out of core conservative convictions?!!? That is .... DUMB. And non-believable.

Leo58, if you really think that way, you are shallower than a puddle.

I hate to admit it but I’m getting them too.

Could it be that they are trying to capitalize on the current anti-Obama fervor?

They are relentless.

*69 and caller ID are useless. Any VoIP phone system can spoof any number. Only a trace by the phone company can determine where the call actually originated.

I am a telecom administrator by profession, so you can trust me on this.
