Palin can not expect all other GOP hopefuls to lay down. I personally think she will win the nomination, but she has to win it.

BTW, I think it is not a matter of doing her homework. It is a matter of continuing her connection with the American people.

The DC GOP establishment thinks Bachmann is a gaffe machine. Bachmann called Obama a socialist on Chris Matthews. In 2008, the NRCC cited a poor fundraising efforts and theofre refused to fund Bachmann’s re-election. Grassroot conservatives picked up the tab for her and she won 46-43.
