They are pulling a stunt. The are having the “workers” file the suit.
Discovery on ACORN would be outside the “workers.”
That’s their new scam. Protect ACORN, have the suit filed in the name of the “workers” who they fired.

I’m sure they waited this long to file charges so they had time to destroy all of the incriminating evidence. I suspect discovery will not produce much for the defense.
