Franks Backs Away from ACORN

Rep. Barney Frank who had steadfastly supported ACORN through all its recent troubles has now reversed course and is calling for an investigation of the groups finances.

In a stunning turnaround, Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) is distancing himself from ACORN, blasting their response to a string of recent scandals -- and contradicting a staffer who said the congressman would have voted against a GOP-sponsored bill banning the group from federal funding.

Some might not agree, but I give BOR props for getting him to acknowledge Acorn was rotten, last night on his show.

Rachael Maddow is the biggest Acorn supporter. I can’t believe her over-the-top outrageous defense of all things Acorn.
