MAUREEN DOWD TOUTS PALIN-CHENY TICKET!
The Edisto Joe Outlook ^ | 10/15/2009 | Edisto Joe

Posted on 10/15/2009 8:01:06 PM PDT by Edisto Joe

New York Times columnist, Maureen Dowd, just published a recent column entitled "The Cheney Daisy Chain". In it she writes about the Cheny sisters, Liz and Mary, starting a consulting firm with their dad, Dick Cheney. The text covers basically everything the left hates about the former Vice President and then paints his daughters as having the same mindset.

She then wanders into talking about Liz Cheney, along with Bill Kristol launching the web site "Keep America Safe" and how it might serve as a launching pad for Liz to run for office. Then out of nowhere she raises what she calls the terrifying specter that some day we could see a Sarah Palin-Elizabeth Cheney ticket, promoted by Kristol.

Terrifying? You better believe it if you're a liberal. Politically strong and successful women are growing in the Republican Party. These are not you're typical liberal, give everything up for my career women. These are working mothers who raise families and in more ways than one, far surpass many of their male counterparts in politics. They terrify the left because they represent everything they're against. Their conservative beliefs counter the mainstream liberal, feminist agenda and to top it off they're attractive, informed and very electable. That is why the the politics of destruction are used against them. They must destroy the image and attack the character......

A Sarah Palin-Elizabeth Cheney ticket would work for me. Maybe Lindsey Graham would have a heart attack over it.

Yeah, but Bigtime would be invaluable to them as a personal advisor. They could also name him as the czar of media relations just to tweak those sons of bitches.

Well if Maureen wants to debate Ms. Cheney she better bring her A game. Because if she brings your MSNBC moveon.org dailykos BS routine Mary Cheney will crush her like a little bug.

How, exactly, is this Maureen Dowd "touting" a Palin-Cheney ticket?

Fearing maybe, touting, no.

That would be a win-win-win! I wouldn't want it to be fatal however, because I would want Senator Graham to see how much better these ladies run than the clowns he would have there. Then he could be shown the door like he wants to do to us conservatives. (Since I have been following politics, I have seen some disappointments but none as big a disappointment as Graham.)

Looks like they’re talking about a Sarah & Liz ticket, not Sarah & Dick.

No she doesn't.

What a dilema for her. It's probably a bitch [sic] for Modo, a likely feminist, jealous as hell over the prospect of the acendancy of attractive female conservatives.
